The tacos Al Pastor, were delicious. This was our first time here. I plan on going back tomorrow on Tuesday for taco Tuesday. The server is from Columbia, and the owner is from Puebla, Mexico. They are both very nice. it was nice having the owner talk to us as well. They are both very personable. I was mostly there for the food, and I will be returning.

The food and service was great! The atmosphere is pretty good but they have some more work to do. They have some differences in their queso and salsas that are a welcomed change from the common experience you get everywhere else. Great location for me as I can drive there in my golf cart. I'll go back again for sure.

This place was awesome. The food was phenomenal. I had the Pork of Verde and you can tell that they slow cook the pork in the actual in the verda. The carne asadas were just like street tacos. The salsa is really good. Check this place out be in

A Journey You'll Want to Make Again and Again ~ Los Paisas Mexican RestaurantStepping into Los Paisas Mexican Restaurant in Nixa, Missouri, is like being teleported to a bustling mercado in the heart of Mexico City. The place doesn’t just serve food; it serves up an experience, a slice of life, and a kick in the taste buds. The joint is decked out in the proud colors of the Mexican flag, and it’s got an energy that’s both infectious and comforting. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, loosen your belt, and prepare for a feast that’s going to be talked about long after the plates are cleared. My wife, the lover of all Mexican food, dove into the Tostadas like a pro—smothered with beans and guacamole, topped with ground beef, and crowned with a confetti of lettuce and cheese. It was a dish that didn’t just sit on the plate; it stood up and demanded attention. As for me, I went headfirst into the Lunch Fajitas. Let me tell you, these weren’t your run-of-the-mill, assembly-line fajitas. These were the real deal—steak strips that had been seasoned by the hands of someone who knew their way around a spice rack, and sautéed onions and peppers that still had a bit of fight left in them. It was a dish that made you want to slow down and savor every last sizzle. The guacamole? Forget about it. It was the kind of fresh that makes you wonder if they’ve got an avocado tree out back. We devoured it like it was our job, and I’m not ashamed to say it was some of the best work we’ve ever done. Our waitress was a saint—a master of her craft. She had that rare ability to be everywhere at once without ever making you feel crowded. She was the kind of waitress who earned every penny of her generous tip and then some.We didn’t have room for dessert, but that’s just an excuse to come back. And we will. Because Los Paisas isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a reminder that when it comes to good food, there are no borders, no walls—just a table, some chairs, and a plate full of something that reminds you why life is worth living. So, if you find yourself in Nixa, do yourself a favor: drop by Los Paisas. It’s more than a meal; it’s a welcoming journey, and it’s one you’ll want to take again and again. Trust me.

We ordered from Door Dash and everything was excellent. We had the Nixa Specialty, the veggie chimichangas and chips and queso. We will definitely be ordering again.

Los Paisas - A new entry into the Mexican food dining landscape in Nixa. Really enjoyed our dining experience- what made it exceptional was the super star waitress Jackie and her personality of service that matched the food quality. Brisket burrito was amazing, tortilla soup was hearty, shrimp with mexican rice, everything we had was excellent.

Atmosphere is kinda, meh. Granted they are new so I give them a pass. The salsa is my favorite salsa in Nixa. Very good! I had the Mexican Burrito. It was actually pretty darn good and I'd definitely order it again. The owner was walking around serving and talking to folks. I appreciated that. My son loved everything he had. The churros and ice cream were awesome. ??My son wanted me to add his review."The food was very very good. I got the big burrito ? with jalapeños,steak, lettuce, tomato etc. For dessert we got there churros. They have a nice cinnamony taste very sweet. There salsa. At first a little sweet at first then salty and savory. I would highly recommend this place. Very bussin that means good".
