Clearly since they are closed. . They honestly have no idea about the great opportunity they had to make food from scratch. They have a amazing menu that could be so much better with a little more time spent going that extra mile. I do wish them the very best and hopefully they will get to make a come back

Amazing food staffing is definitely an issue feel they need someone just to answer the phones on certain days and times for togos just to put it in for a later pickup time perhaps an updated website that would allow me to submit a Togo for later pick up hope they expand and get a second location in Springfield nice to have a healthier option doing some organic ingredients

Had lunch here with my sister on 4/13 around 1:00. Food was good but the service took a while. There was a sign at the front saying that they're short staffed. I had a grilled cheese with some chicken and dumpling soup with a mimosa. Overall, it's a cute place with good food. Just need to be patient with their crew since they're short staffed.

Fantastic cafe in quite literally every way! There’s a unique, comfortable sense of place. The staff are always wonderful, and the walls feature works from local artists. The decor, tableware, colors all combine to create a memorable setting. Food is second to none in the area! Support this independent restaurant, they have thoughtfully created a gem here!

I loved going here!! I love the atmosphere the staff was so nice! I went in and got a delicious smoothie after swim practice one day. I enjoyed it very much!! I recommend going here! The eggs here are also delicious.

If it's not broke don't fix it. From November through March, we were a 5-day a week customer so about $250 a week we would spend. New ownership came in bought out the old and made massive changes.

MDC was an amazing restaurant, owned and ran by amazing people.It is no longer these things.I can not stress enough how miserable it is to watch this once amazing cafe be ruined under a shift in ownership. From hiring new employees that have no understanding of how restaurants are operated to working the good employees into the ground, the new Morning Day is not the same wonderful cafe that it was for the many years it has operated in Nixa.After working at Morning day for nearly a year before quitting after the shift in ownership was announced, watching my coworkers (who became more like family as we supported and grew with each other throughout my short year of work) struggle as their lives were completely uprooted is a horrific experience.Do not give your money to this place. Do not support Mark Anderson.There is no longer any heart to this place, there is no soul.

This place is amazing! The food, the service, and the decor is all so great. We had the eggs Benedict with the toasted coconut cappuccino, French toast, eggs, bacon, and the Mexican mocha. Delicious! Love how colorful this place is

What a true gem for downtown Nixa. We had the quiche and #Bacon and both were absolutely wonderful. Perfectly cooked eggs and the Gouda potato mash was unreal. Great decor and the service was excellent. We are from out of town but will return for some of the sandwiches during our next visit.

Their coffee is great and if bloody Mary's are your thing they have those too. They are perfectionist when it comes to their food.
