“I love this place! I do not drink, but I love live music! This is a cigar shop, a full service bar, a smoking lounge, and a venue all in one very well packaged establishment. The venue room is separated from the rest of the facility. There is plenty of room to sit in comfortable seating, have a great smoke with a diet soda or water, and watch live music on Fridays and Saturdays.I recommend it for a music lover like myself that absolutely hates bars and alcohol.If you hate smoke, well then obviously this is not the place to go!“

“Was in KC for work a few weeks ago and stopped in here. The beers are cold and taste great. It has a great vibe also. I was only there long enough for two beers, but left with two new friends, three 6 packs of Fire Tree, and one 6 pack of Captin Holdens. Will definitely go back next time work calls me back to NKC.“
“This is an excellent brewery in KC! Not only is this the first black-owned brewery in KC, but they partnered with black artists for the artwork and decor. The brewery is located inside a historic building off of Vine Street and they have a huge outside beer garden! They also have live music which is awesome. They have seating for small or big groups. We came here for an office HH and were able to enjoy the nice weather and sit large groups of people together. The staff is super nice and helpful when trying to figure out what you want to order. They also make an in house bubbly water, which I love! This is a must-try for all beer lovers and non-beer lovers as the space is so cool! They also have a bookshelf of games to enjoy while sipping on your drinks. 100% recommend!“
“BKS makes the best IPAs I've ever had. Although IPAs are my favorite, they also make a variety of other beers that are just as good. It's a small, hometown feel spot with wonderful staff. They allow dogs which always brings a smile to everyone's face - they even have a Pivot Project line named after the owners sweet doggie who visits often! You've gotta stop on in!“

“There's not question... five stars all day every day! We moved here last year and were ELATED to find out we moved within walking distance to Sandhills! The atmosphere is so chill and welcoming, it makes you want to go back week after week! The selection of beers is excellent. They always have a great range of strengths from kolsch all the way up to stouts or double IPAs. They also have great limited releases that keep us going back.“
“This place has an amazing atmosphere! That’s one reason to stop by, but the beer is delicious and the design (both interior and graphic) are noteworthy. I had the flight and my buddy had a seltzer. We had the fresh ipa, hazy ipa, sour, saison, and oktoberfest. Gotta say, this place is one of the best around.“

“Great tour! Very informative and interesting. They give you 2 5 oz beers along the way and then 2 more after where you get a wide variety of choices of lots of drinks. I am not a beer drinker but still had a great time. At the end I found drinks that were great and not beer. Totally worth the $10.“

Just couldn’t stand the idea of visiting KCMO and not stopping by this legendary spot.Glad I didn’t miss it.Beer as great, hummus plate was too, but the thing that stood out the most was the atmosphere.Everybody was all smiles as they played St. Patty’s bingo. The museum-like displays on the ground floor were easily my fav part, and the shop was cool too, as it had just about everything you could imagine.“

We’re having a good time playing cards, but if you’re looking for atmosphere, I’m not sure if this is the place for you. “I served in the Navy and I’ll salute this West Point grad for what he does. The name is for the red sash some leaders wear at West Point (GO NAVY!). This is good beer with a good selection. Veterans get 20% off and are asked to sign the wall. The staff is super friendly and the location is right in the middle of a stretch of breweries. Definitely a spot to go to and I recommend the Tropic Lightning (named for the 25th Infantry Division). Get on down there and drink a beer!“
“Spent the afternoon with Ryne at the brewery after getting into KC! Service was incredible, easy to talk with and very helpful to guide us around town and have recommendations for the city. With all that said- the beer was INCREDIBLE. Hard to find a Pale Ale that I like that still has flavor but low ABV and their “beer with no name” is one I will be definitely coming back for! All their beers we tried were fantastic, my husband loved their flagship IPA! We stuck around for 3 beers for the deliciousness of the beer, the environment, and good company / service! We will be back within a day or 2!They also are close to a lot of delicious food stops so we picked up food and brought it in! Thanks for the beers and your guys’ time!“

“Always great beer, the Tacos Valentina food concept inside is pretty good too. They have the newer Public House side which is open and shiny then they have the original Taproom in the back that's wooden and cosy open a few nights a week still.“

“My office had a party at Border Brewing with about 60 attendees. Eric was super easy to work with, did not slam us with huge event fees, and the bartenders were exceptional. This place isn’t your typical brewery with a choice of super hoppy IPA or 14% stout. They have great IPAs and heavier beer but they also have a wide variety of lighter beers to please anyone’s taste. Drinks were full all night and our entire group had a blast. Can’t thank these guys enough.“
“I like this micro a lot. Besides the gentleman having a bit of a laissez-faire approach to bartending, which isn't necessarily problematic, the beer itself is fantastic and I will be back. Service with a smile and this place seems large enough to host a party. I'm a big fan of places that have interesting sour/gose/fruited beers, so if that's up your alley, this is the perfect place. There are many (more popular, perhaps) breweries within direct vicinity of Nimble that don't have nearly as well thought out brews. This place checks all the boxes for me. Give it a try“
“So many good things happening here! I am not a beer drinker ? but took my husband for a birthday date. I have to say I did really like the cherry cider and appreciated that they had a non alcoholic option that was served just like all their other drinks. Also the plant lover in me was all about checking out all their spider plants and big beautiful babies everywhere! We found a big comfy couch to chill on while ordering food on the iPad at the door for the BBQ place next door. And the best part is in the cold those sweet people brought our yummy food to us at the brew house! They also have a corner of kids toys like cars and board games! Overall the service was great and we really enjoyed this sweet spot!“
