How spectacular! We’re on a family meet-up in KC, and our daughter reserved a few hours of pickleball time. The facilities are astoundingly cool and I loved the layout of the whole place. (I’m super impressed with the use of facilities and buildings in KC—well done!). The courts were excellent—we played outdoors, and there are nice indoor courts, too. We all had several different drinks—all excellent—and some fantastic chicken sandwiches with different options. Mine had bacon and pimiento cheese—and it was amazing. Ohhhh it had a side of beets and they were INCREDIBLE. We’ll be back, Chicken ‘n Pickle!PS please open a C’nP in southeastern Ohio!

My family and I went on 03/28/2024 and after dinner our bill was $63.93 after tip. No big deal. Checked my account today and the charge is for over $80.00, and there's another charge pending for another $5.00! Tried to call and speak with a manager about what was going on with my charges, got placed on hold and hung up on. Tried to call back and got ignored. Food and atmosphere is good, but id only pay in cash if I were you!Update: Emailed the manager on 04/03 and have not heard anything back in about two weeks. Still no idea what’s up with my bill.

Ended up sitting in a special section where they charge a 20% gratuity because there was nowhere else to sit and I didn't want to keep walking around because my friend's back was hurting. Didn't really care for watching kickboxing or whatever they call it. Not my taste at all. I don't want to see bloody fighters while I'm trying to eat!! It was disgusting and you couldn't avoid it because it was on all the TVs. I think our server had an attitude. Maybe we didn't order enough food and drinks for her. One guy in our section actually started vaping. Only three stalls in the inside bathroom so there was a line. You should avoid Saturday evenings unless you like bug crowds and people watching because it's quite a show. Nice place to take the kids for fun and games and a limited menu.

The food was ok but very overpriced. The sauces were not good. Too many vinaigrette hybrids. Staff didn’t know what certain menu items were or what was or wasn’t in a certain item. They also didn’t know what certain drinks were. Asked for a drink to exclude an ingredient that didn’t traditionally come in the drink and it still came with it. Tasted horrible for a $14 drink.
