We have ordered for the past two years from this restaurant and up until the last few months the food was always really good. I always order my favorite, House Fried Rice. The last two times we have ordered, the rice and meat were dry and hard. The rice did not taste freshly cooked. We also had the pot stickers and crab Rangoon, they were fresh and hot.

Hot and sour soup...not very good, tasted like it had plastic in it. Hot braised chicken was soggy and not very good sauce. Crab rangoon, however, was excellent. Stomach problems after eating here.

I recently ordered from New China in O'Fallon and was impressed on two fronts: the food and the delivery. The orange chicken arrived piping hot, showcasing its freshness and quality. Not only was the food flavorful, but the delivery was remarkably quick, ensuring that my meal was delivered promptly and at the perfect temperature. I give it a well-deserved 5 stars for the combination of hot, delicious food and speedy delivery service.

I am not picky about vegetables. Everyone who knows me knows I love almost every vegetable. One of the only vegetables I really don't like is celery, but even still, I am used to picking it out of dishes. I don't usually complain. I just scoop it out and set it aside. But I ordered the Kung Pao chicken from this restaurant, and they must have been running low on chicken. Not exaggerating, I got a few strips of chicken and a gigantic pile of celery. Just an absurd amount of celery. Even a huge fan of that particular vegetable would question what they just paid for.

I always get great food and great service from these guys, the rice is the sticky rice that I learned to love in the orient. The food is usually so hot that I have to wait 15 minutes after it gets here to eat it. It is what most Americans would call a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but it is geared more for take-out than dining in.

The lady that took my order was short and contrite on the phone & it wasn’t because they were busy! When I arrived for the carry out she was still rude and was not friendly at all. The food was sub-par and this was my 2nd visit since moving to North O’Fallon in August. I’ll make the trip next time & go back to First Wok! Don’t waste you money or time!

Staff and service is great. Food is terrible. I figured with them being the most expensive around the quality and taste would be unmatched but again I was wrong. This is the third and final time I will come here. It’s extremely unfortunate because i live close and want to give them my business.

This "used" to be our "go-to" place for Chinese food because it was really good. Don't know what has happened over the past year or so but down hill fast. Egg rolls are now the microwaveable. We have some in our freezer that are better than the ones we now get from New China. Yesterday we ordered vegetable lo mein, we were given pork lo mein. The pork was not good. As I cited above the egg rolls are simply just mushy and bad. The sesame chicken was mushy. Whatever my husband ordered, sent him to the bathroom. We called to seek a refund of our $30+. They initially refunded $12. Went to the restaurant, they refunded $17. They know who we are in that we frequent but that has come to an end. Sad in that New China used to have really great food. New management I guess? Dunno.

A HOLE IN THE WALL!! Portions are amazing, meat was fresh and all food was still hot after driving 30 minutes home. crab ragoons were awesome, despite not being able to sit down it's wonderful, staff was really nice .

Our new favorite take out! Tonight was spot on. The cook made some delicious food that was busting with flavor. Delivery is the fastest around, we never wait long and food is always hot.
