We each had a salad. Mine had smoked pork and his had brisket. Huge and very flavorful. Nice to have this option when traveling as it seems it’s hard to get enough daily vegetables!
First, the covid stuff. Staff wearing masks, but no distancing of tables. Next, the food. My wife ordered the cod sandwich. The "slab" of cod was huge. Don't think we have ever seen a piece of any fish this size on a sandwich. Nicely breaded and cooked perfectly. You know, part of this restaurant's name is "smokehouse", so I ordered a brisket sandwich. Sadly, there was almost zero smoke flavor on the brisket. The restaurant is full of character, with decor everything automotive. It has something for everyone, incredibly friendly waitresses (ask for Sarah), and good food. They have the BEST carrot cake and the potato salad was served warm and incredibly delicious too. Few restaurants we've visited recently have been so delightful.
