Liz and Dominic hit it out of the park with Osteria Forto. Our family enjoyed every bite of pasta and dessert. Our waitress, Jess, provided excellent service and recommendations, including the tortellini that was my favorite. We cannot wait to return and try another pasta dish as well as another of Liz’s famous desserts. Celebrated our anniversary here tonight. ❤Cannot say enough about how personal they made our evening. Derek, our server was wonderful. The egg white finish on the Bourbon Millionaire was so appreciated, an exceptional drink! The calamari was some of the best we've ever had. The flavors married in the Arancini were perfection. Dinner, Chicken piccata was wonderful along with the sides. Kudos to the owners on a job well done, thank you for an exceptional dinner and experience!❤
Osteria was very good, I would rate it at 3.75. The food is fresh and prepared well. Their red sauce is excellent, as is the Bella Casa salad. I am grateful that, finally, a decent Italian restaurant has opened in the O'Fallon and St. Charles County area!!! They need to get just a little bolder with seasonings and dessert flavors. The chicken modiga was very good, only slightly heavy on the "dusting." The service was excellent. I'm definitely going back!

The foods and services were excellent. I ordered Linguine mare e' monte. It's delicious, just wish for more sauce. Fried calamari was good, not salty nor oily. Bread and olive oil was great start. If you like seafood, the seafood pescatore is your good choice with big shrimp, scallops and other seafood. All servers worked well together to serve us. We were greeted and thanked. Of course the restaurant was crowded because of the qualities. The leftover was boxed, wrapped nicely with plastic wraps and labeled. Such a great addition to OFallon! My husband and I decided to try this restaurant out last minute. Per the reservation online, they had an opening at 8 pm. We headed there early with hopes to be seated faster.The host was incredibly nice and helpful. After a short wait at the bar (with friendly service as well!), we were seated at a table.The dining area is quaint and beautifully decorated. Although a smaller dining area, we had PLENTY of room and enjoyed the atmosphere.Our server, Erin, was fabulous. Very well spoken, knew the menu well and had some great recommendations.My husband had the Pinot Noir and I had the Pinot Grigio. Both were well priced and refreshing.We ordered the meatball bolognese and the eggplant appetizers. They were with different sauces. I really enjoyed tasting both! Would order again!!We shared the Forto salad - which was plenty to share!! It was incredible! Very hearty with the vegetables, which is always my favorite.My husband had the salmon and I had the tortellini. He said his salmon was the best he’s had in a while. Tortellini is my go to and I’m pretty judgy with it. It was amazing!! Full of flavor and the perfect amount of sauce.We had so much food and had plenty to take home, which they wrapped up nicely so there was no spillage.The owners came by our table to see how everything was. They were friendly and talkative.The whole vibe was on point.Fabulous place for a girls night out, for a nice family dinner, or even a romantic date night.5⭐️s across the board. Look anyone that doesn't leave a 5 star review here is hysterical and probably don't like themselves. I came here the first time on a huge hunch with my family. Dressed in gym clothes after my son's martial arts class. Service was absolutely amazing, food was perfect and total experience was untouchable. Now have been here 8 times and each time is consistent. Highly recommend.

I found a good restaurant worth mentioning. My daughter, her husband and I decided that we would like to try the nearby Osteria Forto Restaurant on Hwy K in OFallon. I would classify it as a better fine dining restaurant. They have an extensive wine list and a menu with a very good variety of choices. The staff is quite friendly and does not act simply like food servers. The service was top notch, and the food was very tasty with generous portions. The Osteria Forto is a newer addition in this area, and I believe it adds much class to our dining choices in OFallon.
