I hosted my husband’s 40th birthday party over the weekend at Shortleaf and I can’t say enough good things! All our guests are still talking about how amazing the place and party was. Some have never been to Shortleaf but they may become regulars ?.The communication leading up to the party was wonderful, thank you so much to Jonathan and Michael for answering all my questions. The event space was perfect for our 40 guests.The food was amazing! Eli helped coordinate how much food I may need for our guests which was extremely helpful. Ordered the taco bar (meat, chicken, spicy cauliflower), toasted raviolis, caesar salad, and chicken fingers.Everyone talked about how delicious the food was overall but especially the chicken fingers! The catering was perfect, enough plates, napkins, and silverware. Thank you so much Eli for the fantastic food!!I was able to bring a custom cake, centerpieces, kids coloring table, and balloons. Additionally, they had board games and a shuffleboard table for entertainment. We had 14 kids which is hard sometimes to keep them entertained even during a meal at a restaurant.Brittany was wonderful at the bar! Everyone loved all the beers but especially the frozen hot chocolate and frozen strawberry margarita. It is so nice to go to a brewery where there are other cocktails if you do not prefer beer.If anyone needs to hold an event, come in for a drink, or eat delicious food THIS is the place!! Thank you so much for everything!!

This was the best brewery we we went to in St Louis by far. Great staff and great music playing. They offer a crazy variety of flavors and concoctions. This is a place we were very happy to visit and we will certainly be back.

Been to Shortleaf multiple times and love the food. Not big on the needing to use phone to scan QR code to see a menu. They do have printed menus available if you ask.
Have yet to have a bad experience here. The service is awesome. Everyone is super nice. The food is excellent during the week and the brunch is great too. Liz and Ryan make a wonderful margarita for the non-beer drinkers too

Came here on the recommendation of a friend because he said they had pretty good food, great beer, and a good brunch. Came in on Monday for the $5 Burger with a beer special.I can't lie, EVERYTHING was FANTASTIC. Service was great - Ryan was super-friendly and accommodating, beer was delicious (Ryan let us try a few before deciding), and the burger was ?????. Cauliflower bites were excellent, as well!I would 1000% recommend this place?????????? TONS of beer options - Try the coffee stout WITH the vanilla porter!

I can't recommend the food, staff was friendly but our while table's the chicken sandwiches were very chewy/fatty. Fries were cold when we got them, T-ravs were definitely frozen before cooked which is fine but nothing special. I'd say below average bar food.

It blows my mind that this place isn’t slam packed all day every day. Food is FRESH. almost everything is made from scratch. The brews are amazing, of course. Environment and bartenders are spot on. Highly recommend.
