One of the best places to get clean fresh food in all of st. charles county. They have a really awesome patio too and they can open the doors to provide a bright and airy atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants in the area.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly

I’m not much of a review person, but The Walnut Grill is an exception. Lewis and Jerry create a welcoming environment. I’ve been a customer for about a year and the food never disappoints. Can’t say enough about the bartenders as well. Attentive and friendly. The food is always on point, but Wade, Tracey and Taylor make it an enjoyable dinner every time.

Over all great selection of food choices. The only thing I would like to see is the fruit platter expanded a little. Now taking into account this is still winter and selection is limited. So maybe a little expansion here. We plan on ok'ing back again for the brunch... good job...

From the time we entered the facility, we felt privileged and happy. The young lady was very articulate and caring about our questions. We were able to select several new dishes that looked interesting and they ended up being unbelievably delicious - this is especially true for my dish that was hot, big, and specially made with lots of care. Our congratulations for making it all so wonderful for a Saturday evening. Please keep doing what you are doing. The only very small issue and this is on me, was I had asked the waitress if I could take a copy of the Dessert Menu home, as it depicts a young child going bananas over a big ice cream cone. As I claim to be the "Ice Cream Champion of the World," I wanted to profess my belief to others with whom I associate and find it ridiculously funny, and it has been for some 77 years now. Anyway, she checked with the Manager and was told "NO<" because you were in short supply. So, anyway, should you ever get in a position to pass one along to one of your favorite customers, please consider me...and I thank you very much! Marshell Foss, [email protected] (636)497-9658

I traveled to the area on business and it’s always dicey when going to a new place. I do not recommend this place. I ate approx 50% of my meal….which isn’t like me. I wa raised to finish my dinner.Nice server. The food was sloppy, best way to describe what I had.Blackened salmon BLT. No. Don’t. Salmon was okay, but very skimpy. The Gorgonzola was overpowering. Again sloppy. The bacon was the highlight but could t eat it all because some looked undercooked.Sweet potato fries full of fryer oil.Caesar side salad. Limp lettuce, way too much dressing, big slabs of Parmesan. Halfway through that I noticed some dried American cheese or something orange and crusty on the edge of the plate.I should have known it wasn’t going to be enjoyable when I was seated I had to brush crumbs off of the booth seat.
