We (8 of us) stayed on-site at Margaritaville for a night. We ended up eating here twice--once for dinner and once for breakfast. The kids were on campus at the indoor water park, so we ordered dinner for takeout. I wish I would have taken a picture of the island grilled chicken that I had. It was delicious. I was honestly expecting one measly little piece of chicken and what I got was two pieces of nice sized chicken. The salsa was incredibly flavorful. We were all surprised at the portion sizes! Then, for breakfast, my husband and I snuck away to get a bite to eat. We ate down in the restaurant. Now, understand, we are here in December. We got seated right away and there weren't too many people in the restaurant at 8 am. There are lots of tables and different levels in the restaurant itself (so lots of stairs). We got a nice sized glass of water. Service was pretty good! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and helpful. We were never once pressured into the buffet, although it was an option for $18.99 a person. We opted for the menu and got our food within 15 minutes. I should have also taken a picture of the menu, but the prices were reasonable ($10-16) for the entrees. Overall, we were pleased!

Nice Cafe on the water. Golf carts available at no charge to drive you up and down the hill to and from parking lot. They have a delectable buffet, but we're out of some things so we ordered from the menu. I had a delicious omelet from the build your own selection. It was well presented too. Wait staff were attentive and pleasant, though it took some time to pay the bill. Cozy atmosphere with great view of the lake. Not well marked, however, but there is a large deck next to it and there are people available to direct you. I would definitely go there again. Enjoyable dining experience. Reasonable prices.Parking: It's not right in front of the restaurant, but there are golf carts with attendants to get you to and from the restaurant free of charge. Our driver was very pleasant and helpful.

We had the buffet breakfast here for 3 mornings and found the service to be very well done We usually ate at 8 and on Saturday we just beat the rush. By 9 there was a huge line to check in for tables. We bought the breakfast package and we’re glad we did. Fresh fruit including watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple and honeydew. Piles of bacon and sausage, nice biscuits and gravy, waffles, pancakes, made to order omelettes and scrambled eggs. Coffee was good and on Saturday and Sunday we noticed a Bloody Mary mimosa bar. Do not think we saw anyone order from the menu. Food was constantly replenished and serving area kept clean. Enjoyable and tasty.

The breakfast buffet was very good. Everything was fresh the food was very tasty. There was just the right amount of selections. Sometimes it can be overwhelming in the morning if you get a buffet that has to much. They also has a mimosa and bloody mary bar.The view from inside was nice. Staff was very nice and professional. The eating area was very clean. I was pleased. It was good for kids as well.Best part is that my server's name was... drumroll... SHELBIE! It was meant to be!

We have come for breakfast several times a year and it's always wonderful! Beautiful views, very clean, never a wait, and I always get my favorite table. The same gentleman is always there to make my favorite omelet. I wish I could remember his name so he would get recognized. Always a smiling face and very helpful. He even brought my omelet to my table because he saw I was busy with my kids. Please recognized Mr. Omelet man!

Breakfast buffet was fine. Omelet and waffle station, fresh fruit, cereals and breads, potatoes, eggs, bacon and sausage. Dri ks included for about $20.00. Not too bad for an on resort restaurant. Very clean and kind, attentive staff.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel and had dinner. I'm aware that staying at a resort, off season and on the weekday, may not get the best of the best. With that being said, it was bad. The food tastes as if it was frozen and reheated. At the price point, I expected better.
