So I know this place is probably better than my experience, and I did not complain when I should have. I was on the fence between Med Rare and Med and made a bad choice going to medium. I would try again, but use that intel if you don't want well done.
I'm am shocked the rating is only 3.6. We are here from Dallas for a few days of R&R and in DFW there is no shortage of some of the nations greatest steak houses. I've travelled extensively in my career through Europe, NA and Asia and I will say this place stands in the top 20 of my favorite places. The view alone was spectacular and we ate more than we normally do so had a good sampling of many dishes. It has been a long time since we have been to Michael's. I am trying to eat the less meat for health reasons, but unfortunately I love a good steak. Although there are a few excellent steak restaurants here at the Lake of the Ozarks, I have come to think that Michaels is probably the best or, maybe tied for best.
