The place is very “elegant” and the service was good but the food was horrible the pancakes were bland as was the french toast. I could easily say it was $40+ wasted. Neither of us even finished our plates as the calories weren’t worth it for the taste. Very disappointed ☹️

I have always wanted to try the French toast at this restaurant, but every time I go by it is super busy. Well today, my husband and I decided to give it a try on our way to Jefferson City. Well, Letts’s just say it was an incredible disappointment. I have always said breakfast is the hardest meals to mess up, but somehow they messed it up. I ordered French toast, which was one slice and zero flavor at all. Actually, it did have some kind of taste, but it was not a sweet yummy taste. I even asked for brown sugar to hopefully add something so I could eat it. I felt bad spending so much money to not have any desire to eat the food on my plate. My husband ordered pancakes and just like my French toast, very little flavor. Not even the syrup tasted normal, usually the syrup would add enough flavor to eat, but not in this case. The restaurant itself is very charming, but it does not do any good to look good if the food does not taste good. We spent 40.00 and left disappointed, dissatisfied and hungry. My suggestion is to find another place and don’t waste your time here.

I love this restaurant, the food and service are consistently excellent. The food is always delicious and made with fresh ingredients and the restaurant is beautifully decorated! I usually go with an egg dish with hash browns (they are amazing) and leave with some fresh beignets. My only criticism is that in my experience, the restaurant is not always open (due to staffing or other issues), so calling ahead to make sure the restaurant is open is critical. Aside from that, this place is amazing and I highly recommend it. Cheers!

Really enjoyed our breakfast! We had the french toast, buttermilk pancakes, eggs Benedict an omelette, was really tasty! Service was good, we didn’t wait long for food and they let us bring our dog in which we really appreciated!

We were seated promptly but waited 15 mins for our waitress, she took our order and poured our water, a young lady brought our food order after 25 mins and we saw our waitress again after 35 mins with more water when we were done, she never checked on us during our meal, all around us other waitresses were checking their tables, we left our waitress a 10% tip and that was because she showed up for work... also we heard someone from.the kitchen argue with our waitress to pick up her food and our waitress said well no one told me it was ready ...this was loud, not something customers want to hear. Food was good but our service was very poor. Other waitresses seemed to be doing their jobs fine though.
Wow. Almost didn't come because of some of the negative reviews on this place. Those people must have gone to a different restaurant.Food, drinks, service: Amazing! Lexie was wonderful. Food perfect. I'm a biscuits and gravy connoisseur, including all throughout the south, this may be the best. We haven't left yet, and I'm ready to come back. ❤️❤️❤️ Make sure you try anything-benedict too. Didn't snap a pic before we inhaled it.

I kept our receipt, Ticket B 3, Oct 7, 2022, 11:31am, as a token of the most abysmal service experience my husband and I have ever had. Gobsmacked we were; my stepdaughter and her companion were both deeply embarrassed to have recommended OTR so enthusiastically and angry with your aggressive behavior toward her parents.I read your reviews to date to help guide me here. You have a lot of fans who acknowledge/tolerate long waits and inattentive servers; these issues aren't necessarily deal breakers for us, either, but abusive behavior is.Potential diners wanting indicators of what they might encounter can read what Courtney & Sterling, Demian, Lem, Andria, SJ and Jessica have to say about their visits. We feel the same way they did about your defensive, antagonism to anything that isn't praise--shows in your written responses, too.Since we'll never see you again, here's a parting gift, something you could add to the website banner. It would at least remove any illusions and IMO would win you points for candor.OTR: where you're lucky I let you in here, so shut up and wait.Thanks and have a good life.

Worst restaurant experience I've ever had! Long story short, took 2+ hours, had a HAIR in my food, food was cold, had to ask for our check literally 5 times and ended up missing our boating reservation because no one would bring it. We told the manager and she was rude and said it was "normal" to have to wait that long and basically said she thought we were lying about the hair. So expensive for terrible food and service. Avoid at all costs!Also convenient that after several bad reviews there were several good ones all at once... from people who had never left a review before ? just saying!

Extremely disappointed in our experience here. We sat down, put in our drink order and waited 45 minutes. It was obvious they had been sitting there a while - The hot coffee was cold & the iced coffee was warm and watery. We waited so long for water refills and straws that we ended up going up to get both ourselves. We ordered right when the drinks arrived and 50 min later still had not been brought out, so we checked on it and they said “well, we kinda got some started” - so we left hungry. The server was very nice, but it’s painfully obvious there are major staffing or organizational/efficiency issues in this restaurant. Don’t recommend…
