Shells is by far one of the best Italian food restaurants I have ever experienced at the lake before. It is a must try out! Completely impressed with how good this experience was! Loved the homemade sauces, and homemade Italian dressing is also a must try! The garlic bread was perfect! Had two apps, 4 full dinners and had a 12 inch pizza to go, bought an extra 16 oz to go of the Alfredo sauce all for $100. Met the owner before we left and she shared her story and I can tell you that you will be glad you tried this restaurant and will want to go back again and again! Wow! Worth the drive from gravois mills to get here!!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options for my daughter! Love this!
My husband and son got a custom made pizza and toasted ravioli. They enjoyed it very much . I got the stuffed portobello mushroom ravioli with red sauce and Italian sausage links. Definitely 10/10 !!The young man who took our order was very polite and friendly. Definitely will come back here again when in the area !!

I gave a star because I had to. The owner or cook whatever she is was extremely rude. My mother order pasta with broccoli. There was no broccoli, so we sent it back. She came out screaming that it was in the spicy chicken so we Stirred it and no broccoli. She preceeded to scream stating there was, when there wasn't. Mind you there was other customers. I will never be back. That is not how you treat your customers. If you want to be yelled at for an error you didn't create for mediocre pasta then this is your place. If you don't enjoy being treated like a low class citizen I recommend somewhere else. Also don't expect any refills as the waiter vanishes and never shows up till you are ready to leave. We will not be back!

We feel like we won the lottery stumbling upon this gem. We had delicious dinner and very kind and quick service.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the bow tie noodles, with just butter, and the meatballs. They both had breadsticks as well.
