I came in on Wednesday March 20th. Mind you that I have frequented this place for at least 40 years. I ordered my meal and had coffee. Paid for my meal and gave the gray haired lady a 30% tip. I was getting ready to leave but ran into a friend at the diner. I stayed and talked to him for 15 minutes. I asked the gray haired lady if I could have another cup of coffee. She turned around and gave me the cruelest look I have ever seen. She acted like I had no right to ask for coffee. I was absolutely astounded and shocked. I’ve lived here for years. It is a shame that I received this kind of treatment. I will never ever come back here, you have lost a faithful customer. Your gray haired lady should be fired, at best. Word will get around because she was disrespectful and rude. A forty year customer, really!

We had a wonderful breakfast here. It is a down home classic diner. You have to be a bit patient as one person can only do so much at once. But it was very delicious and cozy. I never had a Slinger Plate but I would suggest adding onions and shredded cheese. The French Toast is kind of small so if you usually get two and IHOP then you should order three here.

Buiscuits and gravy with a water and then coffee. There is not too many places open early in the morning. P.S. The common name is Georges Diner.

Gem of a throwback, very sparse seating so going with more than two people can be a bit awkward but what a spot! Great food, old school feel, friendly neighborhood service. I’d go every week if my budget allowed.

I love this diner. When I lived in Overland, I was there almost every day. The vibe hasn't changed. Best little place to eat in North County.

I love this place but someone has to let them know about the new guy! I stopped by today and saw no one in the restaurant except for him so I left. He’s done great with burgers and fries but breakfast, not so much. I almost always order the Sandy Stack. Two of us ordered it about a week ago and received no hash browns. I just ate mine, paid and left. The other guy spoke up and he argued with him saying, because he ordered a side of toast, the hash browns didn’t come with it. The customer said it’s part of the order! He went to checked the menu and then asked, So, do you want the hash browns? Another customer ordered a waffle. I watched it pop up and when he pulled it out, it was burnt on one side. He was about to throw it out but then picked up a knife and scraped the burnt part off. That was all I needed to see. I’m done with breakfast here unless I see one of the ladies working.

The service was pretty remarkable. It was just one person cooking, serving and cashier. The atmosphere was different in a good way. Anyone could come in and fill comfortable. This is definitely old school diner.

Pancakes are very good! A must have!!! Hot coffee served with a warm smile. I enjoyed the food and the friendly atmosphere that this place has. The his small dinner dates back to the early fifties. Love is place!Parking: Parking lot found in the rear. No steps so a wheelchair can be used to enter. Very small place. But staffing2 cook and waitress very helpful and friendly.
