The food was hot, but there was so much salt in the tenders, and I couldn't finish it. Conversely, the fries had absolutely no salt at all. Definitely not try again.

This was my first try at Huey Magoo's and it was good. Not awesome but good. I thought the grilled chicken tenders were better than the hand breaded chicken. The grilled chicken had a light sauce on them that was slightly salty but nothing crazy. Next time I am trying a salad with grilled chicken because they looked delicious. We purchased a tray for two people and it actually fed 3 people while still taking home 3 pieces of chicken. It was crowded so taking my 87 year old dad at 1 pm was not the easiest but it cleared out fast. The wait staff that was cleaning up had a long day and were ready to get out of there... But that shouldn't make you snap at the customers... We will try this place again, just maybe a different location.

1 star until Mr Pibb returnsI eat here 4-6 times per week, I really enjoy the chicken. Unfortunately the owner decided to switch Mr Pibb for Dr Pepper. I am disappointed with this decision as Dr Pepper is very different and much worse. You can get Dr Pepper anywhere, but now you can only get Mr Pibb at AMC or Chipotle. Mr Pibb was part of what set Huey Magoos apart from other fast food. I will now be eating here much less frequently. Please reverse this decision or have both. Get rid of something else if you have to.

We are big fans already! Didn't want to judge during opening. Felt like it needed to settle. Each time we have visited the food has been great! And we love the watermelon iced tea!!!!

We ordered catering for the Super Bowl tonight for 35 people and it was easily the most seamless experience ever from start to finish. Their catering menu is all online, includes prices and the ability to order and schedule your pickup in minutes. Everything was easy to order and easy to understand. When I arrived for pickup, everything was ready, the staff was lovely and they helped me load my car. We ordered the 75 tenders, breaded and grilled (grilled tenders were amazing- btw), 24 wraps (everyone raved about these), salad, fries, chips, cookies, lemonades and teas. The kids loved the strawberry lemonade and individually wrapped cookies. They provided all of the plates, cups and serving utensils. It was the easiest party I’ve ever had. We will order again, I highly recommend for your next event.

Overall a decent experience. For a place being known for chicken, I was not impressed by the flavor of the chicken itself. I got grilled tenders with buffalo sauce, and they just didn't have much flavor to them. Texture and heat was good, but flavor was lacking. We also got a crispy chicken sandwich, and it was better, probably because of the extra flavor from the oil the chicken was fried in. The Magoo Sauce was delicious, so I used that for more flavor with the grilled strips. I'm not sure why, but it was incredibly loud in the restaurant. We struggled to hear the cashier, then had problems having a discussion with friends we saw inside. I think there were a lot of fans going, but it was very loud in there. Again, overall, it was a decent experience, but just not our cup of tea.Parking: If there are no parking spots in front, there are parking spots around back. Just go around the south side of the store around the drive thru area.

It is a Friday night, exhausted from work, so I ordered this time for takeout, and I sent my daughter to pick it up. Huey McGoo's was slammed, and the order got a little mixed up. When it got to my house, it was noticeable. This is common most days when ordering take out, but what wasn't common was their handling. Not only did they make the order right, but they also offered to drive it to my house. The food arrived fresh and delicious, and they threw in some banana pudding (which was very tasty) as an extra apology. They just earned a customer for life. I'm very impressed. The food is great, and the service is even better.Thank you

Huey Magoo's is okay for chicken. It's a little overpriced for what it really is, and they messed up our order and forgot to include the coleslaw. They're spicy Magoo sauce is not very spicy either.

Workers were absolutely wonderful. They were all very young and very professional. Very uncommon in this day and age.

The breaded tenders were large in size but to spicy. The grilled tenders are extremely small verses the actual amount of meat in the breaded tenders. The homemade potato chips were very good but the Cole slaw was not good at all. So my rating was based on the the fact that a restaurant with its sole focus on chicken is doing a mediocre job. The other person did enjoy the breaded tenders but they enjoy spice... so if you don't care for spice then try the grilled tenders though they are small. Next time I might make a meal out of the potato chips.
