I like the food here and I enjoyed this place until…. The tall, male waiter with a tat on his neck was the rudest waiter! We were ignored, he never came to ask if we needed anything, my husband had to flag him down for everything, the waiter argued had a bad attitude the whole time, rolled his eyes and the table next to us commented the same. Then when we asked to speak to the manager he started acting like he was angel and he did nothing but serve us.. what a joke.. He told us the manager was too busy to take our complaints and disrespected my husband by putting his hand to his face and telling us to leave and not come back. I go out to eat to take a break when I am exhausted from work and want someone to cook for me and show me a smile and an enjoyable experience.

We came to Maru to celebrate our little dudes 7th birthday. This was our first visit but he wanted sweet chicken for dinner and birthday boy gets what he wants! I was a little nervous trying a new place for such a special occasion but it was a great experience all around. The entire staff and especially our waitress Emily, were so kind and welcoming and they went out of their way to make him feel special. The food and drinks were a hit for everyone. We will definitely be coming back!

But there is one server that stands out to us & his name is Mason. We've had him several times & he's awesome! He's super friendly, he pays attention to detail & very attentive. Every. Single. Time. Found hair in our food that definitely wasn’t mine or my fiancé. Told them and they didn’t care all they said was sorry about that. Out of the 12 chicken pieces I had 6 pieces of hard chicken that I couldn’t eat. Didn’t do anything about that either.
Among the best Aisian fusion we have had! Maru has become one of out regular spots. Presentation and taste is fantastic for both Sushi and dishes.
