I'm finally reviewing Cole's after a third time visiting because I wanted to give it a fair shake, especially since it seems to be well-regarded by many. The ambiance is intimate and wonderful - it's clear ownership really did a great job converting this building into a modern, yet rustic farmhouse. Drinks are always inventive and unique and I've enjoyed their desserts. Unfortunately, I find their food to be very underwhelming for the price, and for this reason, I don't recommend it over other higher-end restaurants in the area. My most recent visit, we ordered the pork belly appetizer to start. I really liked the glaze, but found the pork belly to be very dry and tough to chew compared to other restaurants I've had pork belly at. My husband and I each ordered the steak frites and while it was cooked perfectly, the New York Strip that was pre-sliced ate very fatty and didn't seem to be of great quality. Like other times I've dined here, the potato and vegetable sides are lackluster and come off as an afterthought - the Parmesan truffle fries lacked any seasoning or flavor. I love treating myself to a nice dinner out and most recently came to Cole's for a celebratory night, but was left feeling disappointed again.

Just leaving Cole's Hearth room. Angie was our waitress and she was great. We both ordered margaritas and being from Texas we are kind of picky but they totally passed the test. Very fresh and plenty of tequila. I ordered the Filet and cooked to perfection. Hubby ordered NY Strip. Served sliced which was kind of different but good. Highly recommend.

It's so refreshing to have a 5-star quality meal in a stunning location, so close to home! The bartender was the best we've ever had. Her drinks are incredible. We had the crabcake, hearth salad, spinach salad, urban cowboy steak, half a lobster tail, the shrimp and grits, and blueberry lemon cheesecake. All were the best we've ever had!The servers were all so kind and attentive. Their matching uniforms really elevated the experience.If you want to celebrate for any reason or have a beautiful meal, THIS is the place to go!

We went to dinner for Valentine's Day here last night and it was absolutely fabulous! Cole's Hearth Room is a popular spot for good reason, the menu is off the charts amazing! I was very impressed with how many customers they were able to serve. We had reservations for 8:30pm and it was packed all the way until we left an hour later. Even with so many customers, my water cup was never left empty (the bussers were so attentive!) If you have not had the pleasure of experiencing this ambiance first-hand, I would definitely recommend it. It is on the pricier side, but in my humble opinion, I think it is worth every penny! If you need a drink recommendation, their Sour Amaretto was delicious. My husband and I will definitely be back to Coles Hearth Room soon!

We have been seeking new restaurants to enjoy date night experiences in the Midwest . This restaurant came up on a search and reading the reviews ahead it looked to be a great choice . We called the day of and we were able to make reservations for 2 the same evening . Parking at night was a little tricky for first time but it was well lit and had upper and a lower level parking . We were greeted immediately by the bartender/host after walking in and offered a bar menu . We were able to order a drink and seated by our reservation time . Everyone that had contact with us from beginning to end of service was friendly . We ordered drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees . Everything we had was amazing . My favorite was the crab cake for appetizers and the sweet potatoes on the side . I would recommended visiting this restaurant and we plan to make it a date night favorite choice .

What can I say....Cole's Hearth Room is amazing!! We always ask for Angie by name because she is so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We never have an empty glass, our food is delivered timely and the unique flavors of every dish are always cooked to perfection. You can cut the incredibly tender filet with a butter knife. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the experience leaves you happy and relaxed. Highly recommend Angie at Cole's Hearth Room!!!
