This place is TOP NOTCH ??I you’re lookin to get you some brunch, then you better stop in and get some tasty food. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but that’s how I like my women! Well worth it the food is gas.If you’re dining in, get ready to jump in a timemachine! The minute you walk in, the interior greets you with a vintage feel. Despite being fairly new, Mimi’s radiates a rustic and timeless sensation. Far out!

This is the quintessential restaurant to eat in Poplar Bluff, hands down. The perfect balance of class that is great for a date, business brunch, or friendly gathering. This is a cafe for breakfast/ brunch. Mimi's offers attentive service, high quality food for great prices in an atmosphere that is beautiful, open and bright. When my wife and I walked into this restaurant the first time, we thought to ourselves:"how have we not been here before?" It took our breath away and my wife was so giddy about the atmosphere / interior design that her smile was from ear to ear the whole time. We felted relaxed, enjoyed the music that was more classical and was actually music that contributes to productive conversation and engagement. Our server was kind, and answered all our questions confidently with eye contact, the kitchen staff prepared our meal in great timing. Our first visit I ordered the Wagyu burger, the second visit was the Rueben sandwich. The wife had the soup and grilled cheese combo both times, the first with the french onion, second the chicken & poblano. The food was delicious! I would equate the wagyu burger to the be the sought after "Krabby Patty" literally picture perfect and wonderfully tasty!! Identifiably prepared by professionals, nothing was "cheated" or "out of the bag". When done with your meal you walk to the back when you are ready and as you pay you can see the breadth of the kitchen and prep area, it's wonderful to see how clean each station was, the staff looked professional and focused in their element. It further established the transparency this cafe has about its food and how proud it is to perform the work it clearly has a passion for. Thank you Mimi's! We are looking forward to coming back again and again

This place is super cool inside with decor that the girls will adore! There is a shop as well to spend some money with what seemed to be household goods. We were short on time so did not have time to look around. The service was great and were seated promptly. I ordered the french dip and co worker got a sandwich with a salad on top lol. My french dip was so-so (very salty tasting maybe) but the fries were really good! Friend's food with the salad on top was a giant mess in my opinion. She said it was pretty good bit it was impossible to eat as a sandwich with the salad on one side. Anyways, overall the linch was enjoyable and would be willing to try again.

I'm from Poplar, but I've lived in St. Louis since 06. The visual aesthetics of this location give me Tower Grove restaurant trend vibes. It was pleasing. The service was great. The food came out really fast. I had: The French Dip, fries, and their brussel sprouts from their starter menu. All of it was delicious.

We have been wanting to try this new local restaurant and today it worked out. The outside is charming with a neon sign hanging from the brick front. Stepping inside you enter on the market side which is decorated with the hip country market decor. We were greeted with a beaming smile and warm welcome from the owner as we made our way through the brick archway to the charming restaurant side. The seating reminds me of a cafe in New Orleans and the bottle chandler is cute. They did an amazing job renovating this historic building and making it a welcoming destination to dine. We came during lunch so the menu reflected that with an array of sandwiches and salads. Everything is made fresh here and the quality and care shows. I ordered the turkey dill with Hawaiian pasta salad and my husband ordered the Jersey shore with fries. The Hawaiian pasta salad was the best I've had. I enjoyed the turkey dill though the cream cheese at times was a little much in it (I would have cut it a bit with a homemade mayo to plus it). My husband enjoyed the Jersey shore and said it could have used a bit more meat as it was mostly salad on top. The waitress was nice though we didn't see her much. We will be back to try the breakfast menu. The owner came at the end to check on us which was a classy touch. Nice place I recommend if you come to town!
