Yes, these treats are wonderfully delicious however, the costumer service is HORRIBLE!!! I had not personally bought the kronuts myself when I tried these the first couple of times, I work for a doctors office and had someone bring them in as a treat. I decided to place an order myself when I had family visiting from out of town as I had been telling my family how delicious these kronuts. I called on a Wednesday and left a message inquiring about placing an order for Friday. I did NOT get a call back. I called again Thursday, this time I left my actual order and again asked that someone call me to confirm the order, date and time of pick up and I also wanted to confirm the address as I heard they moved to a new location and the website and menu card I had reflected the address in Raytown . again, NO CALL BACK! I called again Friday morning to get the same message; I left a third message about my order to see if I should drive the 45 minutes to pick up. NO CALL BACK!! As a new business I was shocked that they would be so cavalier in disregarding potential business! Since then, I have told my friends and business associates to continue our sweet treat business with Rays Doughnuts, Do they have Kronuts...NO but what they do have is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Sincerely disappointed!!!

Hands down my favorite place in the metro area for pastry. I heard about the 'kronuts' here, and had to give them a try. After trying two, I couldn't leave without going back for a third. After doing some errands that day, I decided to go back for a couple more. Rinse and repeat the next day, and the day after that... You get the idea. And I don't even live in Raytown. They're not the same as the famous 'cronut' from New York, nor are they trying to be. In fact John (one of the owners) tells me he's never even tried a cronut before. They are simply a cross between a croissant and a donut, and they're Ludicrously delicious.

Did you know this place has "Kronutz?" Because they do, and they're delicious. After reading about them in the Pitch, my husband and I decided to journey out to Raytown to check them out. WORTH IT! We were able to eat fresh warm "Kronutz" and I think I had an existential experience. I now understand the whole hype behind the "cronut." The sweet flaky warm layers of this pastry will bring joy into your heart and tears to your eyes. We were able to purchase one of each of their six flavors. Out of all of them, I honestly prefer just a plain "Kronut," but all of the other flavors were phenomenal too. The cherry one tasted like a mini-cherry pie. Edible Creations is a bakery that sells many other traditional items, like cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, etc. Honestly, if they can make "Kronut" that will blow your mind, I'm sure their other products will too. I'm sure I'll be back for more. In the meantime, it is totally worth the trip out to Raytown to check out this humble little shop,

I am always on the lookout for a good bakery and finding one close to my neighborhood is a wonderful bonus. So when I read Rhonda S.'s review and found out about Edible Creations I was really excited! We went there on Friday and tried a KroNutz and I went back Saturday morning at 8 a.m. to bring home a Bacon Maple and a Chocolate KroNutz! Uh Oh, having Edible Creations so close to my house may not be very good for my waistline... but it sure will be Great for my tummy! I just have to put myself on my honor not to go every day! Edible Creations is a very modest bakery. The cases on Friday had a tray of KroNutz and a couple of trays of Cinnamon Rolls and about a half dozen flavors of pretty cup cakes with some intriguing flavors such a Triple Chocolate, Wedding Cake and I can't remember the others, but they were even more inventive. Hubby, Sis and I were on our way to other shopping destinations so we only tried the Regular flavor KroNutz but I noticed a sign that mentioned the Bacon/Maple variety and was told that the shop has the regular KroNutz every day and also bakes at least one specialty variety each week day and on Saturday. Our clerk suggested coming in fairly early in order to have the flavors available. What "sealed the deal" for my return visit on Saturday morning was being told that Saturday was Chocolate KroNutz Day but they were also going to be doing the Bacon Maple as well! Well -- I'm a Fan! The shop does serve some sandwich lunches from (I think) 11:30 to 1:30 and Hubby & I will have to check that out sometime. Also, their facebook page has some quite amazing pictures of other treats that are sometimes available and it mentioned that you can place an order, so there is a lot more going on than was revealed with just a quick visit to the store. But IF you don't go in for anything else... do make a trip for the KroNutz. Mine were wicked good!

I've been by this place hundreds of times, but I don't always go into the shopping center. I'm glad I did today. I was actually planning on going to McDonalds (sorry Yelp, but I like McGriddles), but I'd seen the bakery sign countless of times. I saw on the door they were open and had a few things. I went in, and they had Cronut samples. Oh holy Jesus, what????? I wanted to do flip flops right there! Cronuts are so popular in the Eastern states, never in a million years did I ever think I'd eat one around here...okay this explains a cronut: It's a square or round crescent roll, with a donut hole. fried like a donut, with donut glaze. Sometimes they are meticulously filled. I think sometimes they are sandwiched with donut filling. Sometimes they have fruit topping. People line up in NYC for a cronut. You can get them in Bergan, NJ...which brings me to the fact that you can now get them in Raytown. Edible Creations sells cinnamon rolls, pretty cupcakes of different flavors, lunch varieties, and cronuts. They have reasonably priced pecan pies for the holidays, extremely reasonable. They have a small coffee selection, and have a cooler with beverages. They probably have hot chocolate, but I was so excited about the cronut, I forgot about my drink choices. The service, most sweet and polite. The cherry cronut, divine to my mouth. There's a band that practices there on weekends. You can eat inside, or there's a table outside. But this is based on the fact that I found a cronut....and that's what's up.
