When we we came in, the original hostess was rude and very short. I’ve worked food service, so I understand pressure, but when going back to ask them a question they were completely rude and unhelpful, we could quite clearly overhear her speaking and gossiping about coworkers, and exposing the incompetencies of the people she worked with, I understand, but your guests don’t need to hear that. Then she got replaced by a hostess who was very kind and apologized for the wait time and such. We sat for about 30 minutes and watched as 3 tables remained dirty with no one coming around to bus. We were seated, our waiter was so so sweet, then we get our food. They completely switched our toppings and stuff around, the food was still decently cooked so no worries there. It’s clear that they’re extremely understaffed and I feel for them, but there’s never any excuse to be rude to customers, especially when they’ve been patient and kind. I wish I had our waitresses name so I could get that sweet lady a raise.Update: I got food poisoning ?

I don't often complain but, my wife's burger was burnt and they didn't get her her new burger until we were leaving.We never got French Fry refills, my father in law said it's the first time he has ever left Red Robin hungry! The server was not present, when we talked to the Mgr he said he'd see what he could do, never got back with us, had to have another employee not our server help get the bill. It was very bad service, should have gone somewhere else when we saw the sign on the door. We often go to the St Peters Red Robin but wanted to be close to the zoo because our 14yr old was at the zoo glow with friends, and had to be picked up. I don't know if I'll ever go to the Richmond Heights Red Robin again...our experience was that bad.

I’ve never written a review for a place. This Red Robin blew me away! All of the staff is attentive and friendly! I’ve never felt so welcome in a place! Absolutely outstanding food and atmosphere! Makes me wish I lived closer!

This isn't really a restaurant, it looks and feels more like the working set of a film or TV show about a restaurant. Lowering your expectations going into every aspect of your experience is a must. Our server didn't feel like a server at all, he was more of an actor playing a waiter; and not doing it very well. The complete look of dejected abandonment on every single patrons face, as we all sat there foodless, spoke volumes. Saturday afternoon at 4:30 pm, this was a fun free and mostly service free zone. The employee morale was non-existent as zombie workers shuffled back and forth hating their jobs while others congregated around the front desk area staring into space. Servers could really only accomplish one task at a time, taking ten minutes to get you a napkin, fork, or drink. I think there is little future left for St. Louis and I considered leaving the city more than ever while leaving. When I got home, I basically decided to leave this city, it is really not functioning anymore in any sense of the word. Just trying to get anything any more is excruciating, especially food.

This used to be my favorite place to go, but that's gone.The last 3 times I've visited, the service has been non-existent from the staff. On this last visit I had to CALL the restaurant to have a manager come to our table for assistance... and no, the restaurant wasn't even full.I ordered bottomless sides for a reason. They were SMALLLLLL portions AND with the fact it took FOREVER to order one, we only got one refill on them...definitely not worth the extra $1.99 to be bottomless sweet potato fries.It is highly unlikely I will biopsies this location again anytime soon.

Food was great but we had a very long wait. Food came out super slow. Once we sat down the place looked half empty. We traveled 3 hours to dine here..bottom less fries lol...one small basket. And another long wait for 2nd basket and Food.

Was looking forward to a good burger and beer. I was denied entry to sit at the bar. The restaurant was very desolate, so I’m going to assume they were short staffed, which I can understand.However it was the hostess delivery that was horrendous. She’s just told me they weren’t taking any more customers. Her colleague came in and said it would be about a 30 minute wait, which I would have been ok with. The initial delivery and dead atmosphere made me to the the restaurant next door instead.Update: responded to business owner via email on 3/20 as requested via email with further detail.

Not the best experience there this evening. No bartender as she "just left to go to her other job". So brews were absent from their marketing logo. Not sure if there was even a manager on site. Kudos to the 2 servers who served a busy restaurant at supper time but were clearly overwhelmed

Awful service. Our server was rude and not attentive. Our appetizer came out about 10 minutes after our meals. We had to ask multiple times for one item. We were given the incorrect check. And then she tried giving us a check with an entertainment fee when we didn't even have the little kiosk thing at our table. Food was just okay, nothing good enough to go back for. Extremely disappointed as we love going to Red Robin but the Brentwood, MO location is terrible! I guess there's a reason why there were only 4 other tables there.

The only issue we had here was there was tons of open seating but they wanted to make us wait 30 minutes at least so the kitchen can catch up? Sounds like terrible kitchen management or just lazy staff. Short staffed? Nope. Everyone was moving so slow in the back and looked pissed off at everything. Probably won't be back here for dinner.**Revisit Feb 29 2024**Worst service ever! Food was amazing but not one refill, and MANY other issues. Everyone was suffering the same but our server was absolutely terrible.
