“We walked in about an hour before closing on a Thursday night to a mildly full restaurant. The guy at the counter gave us some suggestions, and we accepted them all (so should you). We got the chicken fresh rolls, the curry chicken noodle bowl, and the grilled pork bahn mi.Overall, super solid food. We could have both eaten a dozen of the fresh rolls. The noodle bowl had some spring mix, and what I assume was nuac Cham, was very subtle. The bahm mi was soft and mildly crunchy with a good amount of goodies to body ratio. I only with the pork had been freshly grilled.I recommend and will stop by again next time I visit.“

“Upon placing our first order we were met with a ton of love and respect. She offered to sit us down in her dining room and the atmosphere was movie like. The food was great and she sat down and ralked with us for a little. I most definitely reccomend for dates and outings.“

“Met a friend here (Webster location) for a weekday lunch and was pleased to find it well-frequented but not so crowded as to make getting a table or enjoying easy conversation without shouting a problem. I ordered the steak vermicelli bowl with Vietnamese vinaigrette and a side of peanut sauce, along with a bottle of water while my companion had the bahn mi and a cold green tea (bottled). My water was pretty clearly a quick-decision afterthought and I would have appreciated if the young woman taking orders would have let m3 know water was available free where the utensils, etc. we're located (out of sight of the entrance and ordering station), I think my friend would have opted for the same. As it was, we added several dollars to our orders as a result. Chalk it up to experience. We both enjoyed our food, but I did find myself wondering if I should have chosen the add Mau vinaigrette instead of the traditional, as the flavor was different (not as good) as I've had at several other Vietnamese restaurants. My friend said her sandwich was good, but admitted she didn't have a big basis for comparison. I'll probably try it again and make few adjustments to see if I just made a wrong choice. Sorry I forgot to take photos, but I take it as a sign that the company was excellent and stopping the conversation for snaps would have been a drag.“

“As many have mentioned, you could drive by this place on Gravois in an old brick corner building with the little crooked sign and never even know it was there. But the full dining room showed that a diverse group of people DO KNOW all about the food here. I ordered all the classic basics to try: cha giò (fried crispy pork egg rolls), a grilled pork banh mi sandwich, and a bowl of pho tai (rare beef pho). The egg rolls were spot on: perfect, crispy chewy fabulousness, and the flavorful accompanying sauce was fresh. The bahn mi was very good and the pork had a nice chew, but wasn't gristly or tough. Plenty of pickled veggies, and fresh herbs and chilies. The only thing that could be better was the bread. Should be a super crispy crusty French loaf, but was instead quite soft and got a little soggy on the inside. The pho came with generous portions of fresh herbs, spouts, and razor thin slices of raw steak that you cook in the boiling broth. However flavorful, I was thrown off by the beef broth itself, which was VERY salty. And that was without the added condiments like Sriracha or hoisin , so I was not able to add those. Even with liberal use of lime juice, I felt like the saltiness was overwhelming. Hopefully it was just a fluke and the next batch will be better, because I fully intend to return to try the curry, summer rolls, and other noodle dishes.“

“We had the most amazing dinner. Our server was Mr. Lin. We arrived around 30 minutes before closing with our 3 children. We are not from the area and were super fatigued, with a 4 hour drive back home. Our server was courteous and helpful with ordering (200 items to choose from). He interacted with our daughters and made sure everyone enjoyed their meals. We had our food and were out the door before closing. I can't wait to enjoy a nice dinner when we visit again. Thank you for the great service and delicious food!“

“The garnishes for the two to-go pho orders I placed were put into the same plastic bag and looked like it was a serving for one person. I didn’t know It was necessary to request ingredients for both orders be entirely separate as I thought that would be a given. What if me and the other person were going in two different directions? Cutting costs on food and supplies at the patrons expense is never a good look. Just make sure you check your bag before you pull off. My order was brought out to my car which I appreciated and the food was delicious. Just wish they hadn’t cheated us on the garnishes.“

“Overdue review. Tried this place when we were visiting family nearby. We had the beef hotpot and it was good. Though a bit on the higher end of the price, serving is generous. Owner is friendly and accomodating. If there are any adjustments needed on the flavor, she said just let her know. I wouldn't compare this to bigger Asian food chains as this is a locally owned restaurant. So yeah, food may take a while to be served as it is only her and another employee prepping the dine in and to-go orders but she will let you know prior to ordering how long the wait time is going to be.“

“Though this is a small establishment with a limited menu, they excel! I’ve visited 4 times in 2 weeks and keep trying the same dish. The spicy pork belly rice bowl has me in a choke hold. It’s the perfect thing to warm you up and the flavors are so developed and complex for such a simple dish. I also love the spring rolls with beef and shrimp. I’ll definitely be returning.“
