The view from the A-frame is fantastic! No wine flights are served here, unfortunately just at the tasting room. Very clean place and relaxed atmosphere to drink some wine and enjoy the views. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and also offered small tastings if you're trying to decide on a wine. The pretzel bites are average in our opinion, but feel free to give them a try and decide for yourself. It's a short hike up(0.3 mi) from the Katy Trail or you can drive around to the top. We'll definitely be back and probably bring some friends with us!

Wedding Review! We got married here in Sept. 2023 and it was more than we could ever ask for. Sherry was a phenomenal coordinator. My family rented one of their properties for the extended weekend. The property was phenomenal and the kids LOVED the pool. Split between 3 families, it was worth it. You truly can’t get a better view, wine and food!A couple of items to note as we looked back. We had rented the bottom portion only. It was EXTREMELY hot inside and the AC had a noticeable difference just within the door way going up. If we knew how hot it would be, that would have changed our minds to rent the upper portion too. There was very limited air flow and we actually had a few family members that left or had a heat stroke. Sherry was lovely and did allow us to venture upstairs as needed for air. I recommend going all in and just renting the whole building. This was a destination wedding but it would have given better spacing for everyone. We loved our wedding and wished we could have racked on at least one more hour for dancing ?

Have lived in the area for almost 20 years and finally went and was there for one of their special events. I must say spectacular views and some of the best and most attentive staff around. As far as the food it was not only just so good and local but and this is of note, they work very hard for guests who may have restrictions or allergies to give them the same dining experience and I can honestly say I think mine may have even been better my fellow guests. This is a five-star Plus must see.

I went there last Saturday with 2 friends, hoping to enjoy a relaxing time. It was immediately jarring. As we pulled in to park there was a school bus loading up a bunch of drunk sorority/fraternity kids. I could see them swaying, one fell over, I could see that their eyes were barely steady. Once we got towards the bar/ordering area there was a girl off to the side that had injured herself and she had been refused more drinks only for the boyfriend to get served. It was all in all sad to see an establishment I'd heard such great things about encouraging drunkenness for kids that were barely 21 if that...I didn't see anyone get carded. I would love to have a redo without all the Sigma Tau nonsense.

Was a great experience until needing assistance getting to the Vinyard from the parking lot. Asked for assistance just a simple ride in the golf cart from the worker due to having knee surgery and they couldn't deliver. Loved this place but unfortunately don't see myself returning ?.

This place is awesome. Great views, good wine, light fare and beer! Pro tip: If you are on bikes take the roads from Rocheport, not the suggested Google route along the Katie.

Historically, I have always had positive experiences at the A-Frame. The views, wine and food are all excellent.I recently visited the A-Frame on the afternoon of 9/16/23. I wanted to buy a bottle of wine and I inquired about the Chambourcin Saignée. I mispronounced the name of this wine and the "gentleman" working the counter was obviously irritated by this but went to look for the wine. When the wine was presented, it was a dark color, and I was looking for more of a lighter color Rose. The male employee then seemed irritated that it wasn't what I wanted. At this point I felt very unwelcome. I told my friend "I don't think he understood what I was asking". I wanted to know a little bit about the wine so I could make a decision, maybe I should have just bought a glass and tried it with no explanation? It's apparent I'm no sommelier. At this point the male employee says, "I can't do this" and walked out leaving the other employee by herself with a long line waiting. This female employee was very kind and explained to me that she didn't know too much about it since it's not ordered frequently, but she did let me know it was part of their collector's series.Really disappointing customer service, especially considering this person is at the main counter in the A-Frame. Not a great first impression or first encounter with staff at a business. I had bought a sticker for advertisement in my own local business, but I don’t think I will give the recommendation to go to this establishment if this guy oversees your customer service experience. Still giving 5 stars because I know how important that is as a business owner and this place is great with the exception of this bad seed.

Nice atmosphere. Could use some new picnic tables. Showing quite a bit of age on what they have. Wine is great as always.

It was terrible. The place is badly in need of an update. The help was surly and acted as if they did not want to be there. The wine was ok at best, but wonderful views from the overlook.

Accidentally originally wrote this for "The Bistro," but this was in fact intended for the more casual and fun A-Frame winegarden so I'm moving it here! What's not to love? A beautiful blufftop setting overlooking the river with some tasty wines. I've enjoyed my two trips into Les Bourgeois. It's honestly worth it just for the views, but the glass(es) of wine I had here were good as well. The memorable one was a rosé over a warm 4th of July weekend that hit the spot. Also enjoyed the sandwiches and snacky nature of everything, especially as I traveled here with a two year old on one visit. This helps bring some additional tourism into the middle-MO, Columbia/Rocheport area and its one I look forward to going back to.
