This is great place to have breakfast. I've been here 3 times and it already feels like I'm at home. The tsunami is phenomenal. Staff are great and attentive it's an all around great place to start your day.

A great local eatery! They have an extensive menu and will basically make anything you want!!! The staff is very attentive and really wants you to have a nice experience! I dined with my twin boys and we all share the same birthday so the entire staff brought us each a huge piece of chocolate cake and sang us 'happy birthday'! We will definitely be back, seeing as there are many other menu items I want to try!Kid-friendliness: There is a kid's menu available!

This place is up there with the best diners I've ever found. Why? Service was amazing - the staff was patient and friendly. And they have TEN egg omelets! Are you kidding me? This is what I've been looking for all my life.I grabbed the 10-egg Lady Di's and it was enough for probably two people - and perfect for one person after running a 10k.

Love going to lady di's diner. We just discovered this place a year or so ago and now it is one of our favorite places to go. The ladies that work there are so pleasant. The food is good and you get plenty of it. Love eating on the patio but this time of the year we are eating inside.
First time ever eating in this establishment. It's been there for 30 years, I know because the owner herself, Diane, came out and sat down and just chatted. She's personable and funny and interesting to talk with. I had the short stack, I couldn't even finish it. Very tasty. I highly recommend this diner.

Going to Lady Di's is like coming home. The staff talk to everyone like they are family and care for them like it too. We were going to head to Alins diner up the street and they were packed, so we went here instead and never looked back. We go fairly regularly and the staff has recognized us as regulars and greets us as soon as we sit down and chat us up when taking our orders about life and what's going on. The service is quick, accurate, and attentive. The food is delicious and you have to try the Haystack special. The atmosphere is like sitting at a family gathering or church dinner. 10/10 place with 10/10 staff. I'll keep going as long as they will have me.

Cute little diner in the heart of historic St. Charles. When you walk in, you will feel at home as it's cozy and friendly. The portion sizes are huge! I ordered a three egg omelet and I swear it was more than three eggs. I loved that they allow almost any substitutions for sides. I was very impressed with the paleo menu and ability to accommodate most dietary needs even gluten free. Only catch with this place is they do not take plastic (credit or debit). Must pay with cash or check. Yes, you read that correctly; they take checks. :-) ATM available inside but does have a steep fee.

Delicious breakfast ! Pancakes were so soft and delicious. I had eggs and hash browns too , everything was great. My coffee was excellent and I never had to ask for a refill the service was awesome. Great little place for a excellent meal. Remember to bring cash .
