The ice cream is great. What I was really blown away by was the food! The food is all homemade and fresh. It is a little more expensive than fast food or other restaurants but I am more than willing to pay extra money for real, good, fresh, local food. I was so happy at how well the food tasted. They also have a great selection of bottled sodas. I highly recommend, if you are hungry, stop in and eat. I really like it here for the most part. Once in a while, there's a lady working there that's pretty rude. But besides her, I like it here and will be back. I wish that you could get some mint ice cream in. That would be really good.Edit: I visited the new downtown location tonight. It seems like all of the ice cream is Blue Bell now, but it was still really good. They now serve mint chip ice cream, which I loved. I haven’t tried the food here I always got the ice cream , sadly my favorite flavors disappeared in the last couple weeks. I don’t think they made their own ice cream but they introduced me to how good blue bell really is. I think that’s where their from
