Wonderful restaurant, food was SUPERB, employees were friendly, great value for the price. My teriyaki chicken (juicy and tender) and vegetables (perfectly cooked and seasoned) came with fried rice (delicious, put the yum yum sauce in there trust me), and a soup (SOUPERB), and a salad (scrumdiddliumptious), for like 20 bucks. Mm mm mm. They also have a very well kept saltwater tank, I enjoyed looking at it.
We love this place!! We had the best sushi rolls, and an awesome server! Love the atmosphere! We will definitely be back! Don’t miss this hidden gem in Sedalia! ??

I’ve heard lots of good things about this restaurant and I finally got a chance to try some of their sushi rolls. I think I picked a wrong date and time to order them. Sushi I ordered weren’t that good as people have mentioned to me. I thought maybe made by wrong chef?One of the expectations toward sushi restaurants in the USA is if the rice was cooked right and seasoned enough. I don’t think many Japanese restaurant owners around here emphasize it much about that. The rolls I ordered today had little to nothing seasonings and rice was more on the mushy side. I have not tasted other food from them so it is not fair for me to give them just one star based on sushi rolls I had.I hope they’ll figure out how to be consistent with sushi rice no matter what sushi chefs are preparing.

I cannot say enough about this place. I had the Hibachi Lobster and my husband had the Hibachi Filet. Both were cooked to perfection. The amount of food that you get surpasses the cost of the meal too. We not only had a delicious lunch today, but will also have a delicious lunch tomorrow. Our new favorite Japanese restaurant.

Worst Japanese food I’ve ever had. The beef I ordered tasted just like cow shxt. The sushi tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The fried “Oreo” was not an Oreo at all, it was some nasty tasting off brand cookie. The chicken and rice were suboptimal, I felt sick after eating it. I get sick while thinking about it. This place is just for looks. I paid $56 for trashy food. I would not recommend to try this place.
