Absolutely stellar restaurant. I've had about four dishes from here and all are fantastic. The staff are super friendly as well. The food comes out quick too.

This has been a favorite of mine since I moved on the South Side of Town. When I learned they were closing I was sad . So after work I decided to call in a Pick Up Order . Called it in at 5:21pm and was told to pick it up in 30-40 minutes. I show up at 6pm and happily wait in a huge line to pay for my order. Stood in line for 30 minutes. Pay for my order and pre tip the cashier. Finally after watching several people who were in line behind me order thier food and receive thier food , I ask the cashier if they weren't making call in orders , bc iv waited for over an hour for a TO GO ORDER, and people behind me was already eating or out of the door with thier food they HAD JUST ORDERED . And the Cashier goes "uh, I dont know ." Unhappy with the time I'd had waisted and the answer I got from thier main employee who had been taking the orders. I ask for my refund . I get my refund for the food but not a refund on the tip I pre tipped her with. Why should she get to keep the tip I gave her when I never received service_food from her. Never again will I Pre Tip anyone again. Lesson learned . China Star wasn't worried about my $10 order only the Big Money Orders Behind Mine. Waited an hour and half for NOTHING like an Idiot .Bonboyage China Star

First and last time here. Everyone was super nice. The food unfortunately does not measure up to the 4.3* rating.I was purposely drove past Panda Express to get here. Chicken was rubbery on both dishes. The vegetables on one dish weren't cooked -peas, onions, carrots.

i dined in and the food was good and the service was also good. i was seated close to the kitchen and could hear the owner and i would guess his wife being EXTREMELY rude to a worker. i heard the owner as the employee who was a young woman “can you even read?” they were yelling at her and being blatantly rude and disrespectful. i will never eat there again.

We love China Star! Their portions are great and will leave you full. The staff is always so kind and helpful! We like the Cashew Chicken Combo and the Chicken Fried Rice! We went with the Chicken Fried Rice today and it was delicious and fresh. Stop by and give them a try or place a call-in order today!

Had lunch with a coworker. First time eating here. Staff is friendly. I had the sesame chicken and crab rangoon. Portions were good. Crab rangoon was nice and stuffed. I enjoyed the meal.***Update as of 6/9/22***Still great!

They have kept there prices down. Still affordable for families.And the food is delicious. Ya can go home open the cover and the steam comes rolling out. It's still hot.I enjoyed it so much I went there the next night to. I can recommend this place to Mom.
