We recently were in town and had to stop by some of our old favorites. We often will order the Springfield style cashew chicken when ordering takeout here. This time we were surprised by how few cashews (and green onions) were on our meals. Maybe 3-5 cashew pieces?? I did see where you can order a side of cashews/onions but didn't think it would be necessary. The service is otherwise fine, but we were a little disappointed by our "cashew chicken" entrees.
Chinese Chef has amazing fresh made to order food with all fresh ingredients! The owner and the staff are friendly and professional! Joe, the owner has had this restaurant for 40 years! It is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Springfield! You are always guaranteed to get a fresh, quick and affordable & meal!
