Got some games, a pool table, and surprisingly juicy chicken strips for a pub. Definitely set up for beers and some mixers.

Went for "Irish pub," found a "sports bar." Condiments are itemized, don't get fooled by the face value low price, bit bland and/or greasy as-is, but I wasn't going for food quality anyway so not a big deal. The classic stout and whiskey selection's there, but the focus appeared to have been on mixed drinks - again, not a bad thing, just not what I was expecting.I was left alone by the staff for the most part, which was very much appreciated as they let me drink and be moody in (relatively, discounting the music and ongoing sports airing) comfortable silence, which I was genuinely grateful for.The atmosphere was, again, less "Irish pub" and more "sports bar," which isn't bad unless the directions you take direct you to the former instead of the latter. I'd recommend the place for anyone just looking for some quick alcohol, not so much for a regular visit.

They supposedly were involved with the pub crawl but didn't give us a digital map, or our 1-2 drinks. We didn't redeem them anywhere else. At this point we tried to redeem them at 2 previous places, but so far no bars have honored it. I didn't expect one free drink everywhere. But at least at one of the bars on the ticket. Nobody knew anything about the costume contest, which was horribly frustrating for a pub crawl.

Straight sucked, the food, the customer service, the service. My friends and I walked from inner to Finnegan's after a long work week and wanting to hang. I walked outside to check on my friend and then they told me "I'm not allowed back in and that I had to leave for the night" just for walking out and checking on someone

I'm always a fan of a pub. This one was packed and had a great price on pictures of beer.

Has to be one of the most affordable places to drink in Springfield! Great atmosphere and they have pickle shots! Old Irish pub feel.

Visited on a Thursday night, it was popping with college kids. The place is nice and has a pool table amongst other activities. The best part was the $8.50 pitcher of beer.

Kinda dirty like floor, tables, sticky bar etc. Not bad for college kids who don't care but if the goal is to get older people like 25+ probably not the best place to try to go to.

This was a great surprise. Went on a week night and had a great time. Kitchen was closed unfortunately but will definitely go back because the prices are extremely good. Had the pickle shot... would really recommend salt on the rim.....it's a total game changer

Adding edit - My dining experience at this restaurant wasn't recent so they may not have the item I ate on their current menu, but this is the restaurant where the server ignored me for 45 minutes. And from some of the reviews I've read here rude behavior towards customers is still the norm.I had the worst dining experience ever here. I came in on a week night to have a quick dinner. In the larger city I come from everyone carries their things in book bags. It's common. I was not aware that this signals homelessness to Springfieldians. I was seated and waited to order. I waited and waited. A party of six came in and was seated. Their orders were taken. Hmmm. I nicely asked the waitress about placing an order and did so. And I waited and waited and waited. I am way too patient and nice. The fact that they wanted me to leave sailed right over my head. After a good 45 minutes I inquired about my meal. In about 15 more minutes I got my order. It was a pot pie. It was way over seasoned and it was horrible. I ate what I could. I tipped the waitress 20% which was far more than she deserved.I wasn't unclean. I didn't emit a foul odor. I was simply carrying a book bag. I used to carry one everywhere before I moved here. I don't care who a waitress thinks a person is. If a person is polite and not behaving in a disruptive manner you take their order. You are nice to them and you serve their food promptly. Customers are not there to please you. They are there to eat and the servers job is to serve in a professional manner. The upside is this: I will never again tip for poor service. I will be happy to leave a restaurant without tipping if I get such shoddy service ever again. If a server wants to be rewarded for doing a really bad job they need to speak to their boss and ask them for more money. Finnegan's Wake was my wake up call.
