After reading all the great reviews I was pretty excited to try this place out. Unfortunately, that led to major disappointment. The prices are reasonable but the food was absolutely horrible. I ordered the Walleye basket which came with one walleye fillet and a side. The walleye fillet is actually a walleye fillet split down the middle; then cut in half for two small pieces. It was also over cooked and dry . The side "walleye potatoes" was cubed fried potatoes with burnt onions and burnt jalapenos . NO SEASONING OF ANYKIND WHAT SO EVER ON ANYTHING. This could possibly be the worst lunch I have had in Springfield and Ive been to a lot of places . Service was slow and not attentive and the atmosphere was something from the 70s if the 70s was dark and dingy.

February 19th, 2024This a was good last minute lunch find.The meatloaf tasted like my grandmother's homemade .... Delicious!I want to go back to try the fried fish, it looked just as yummy on surrounding customers plates!

Y’all need to stop sleepin’ on Jo’s! My family dined in Wednesday and I got the walleye special. It was so good! The tater tots are top notch, burgers are juicy, and my kiddo is a fan of the grilled cheese.

PHENOMENAL!! Incredible home style cooking, this place is always packed with people enjoying Jo's food! We were in a bit of a time crunch, we ordered, got our food, and was able to pay in less than 10 minutes! Awesome service, and even better food
