This place is serving up great food!We had:Spinach & cheese patty - a light and flaky bit of delicious.Oxtails - tender and succulet cooked to perfection.Jerk Chicken - yummy with a sauce that will make you slap your mama!Rice & peas, and plantains were served with our entrées.We went in for lunch on a Saturday about noon. They weren't busy. The food was tasty the owner was friendly.
The food is absolutely amazing!! If you're in a hurry get a patty or two to go. If you have time to sit down get some fresh jerk chicken and enjoy! Staff is friendly and delightful. Highly recommend this place to my family and friends.
In my mind I have already given this spot 5 stars. I failed at spreading the wealth. I have been living off this for like 2 to 3 years now! ??The Jamaican Patties are so good so I don't even have to talk about those. Now the good stuff.-->I have been stuck on the Pattie's so long I completely ignored the rest of the great food this spot has to offer. I think everything is great here because I know it's always fresh. My first time trying oxtails and wow.. flavor town. Please try this spot out and you tell me what you think. My picture is a little rough that's because I had to dig in .sorry. I'll try to get a better photo and update my post.

We tried the downtown location which was a very nice smaller building, very clean. We were the only people there and they had no food to try other than a couple of the patties which were pre made and sitting in a warmer behind the counter. They were good, I think I liked the curry the best. I suppose the pattys are worth 5 stars because how much better could a patty get. It's home food like flaky pie crust with a dollop of meat sauce inside. I guess I was disappointed there was nothing else to eat on this day but we might try again soon. I am a little confused as the menu board price confusing didnt match what was charged, not a big deal but worth pointing out. The one thing I didn't like was the food was served in a paper french fry container and it kept falling over causing my food to lay onto the table. I guess the food truck is where they make the bulk of the food so you may want to locate the truck to try the food? , maybe I was expecting a restaurant... anyway I gave the best review I can since there wasn't much to review. we enjoyed something different.

I'm happy that their organic drinks are back, those are another A+Got my chicken/chicken foot soup and I must say, it was delicious. Rich pumpkin flavor with dumplings, corn, chocho (chayote squash), carrot etc. Cost $8 (lunch) 12oz. Come on over to Jamaican Patty Co. to get real food!!!!!!! Mine that I live 35 minutes away from them, always worth the drive!This is my go to for the winter! Weh flu season aguh!! ? ?

The patties are perfect for eating on the go. The plantain tart is awesome with coffee on the way to work. Can't wait to try their dinner menu. Very nice staff here.

I will never understand how this place gets any good ratings. My husband and I had a visit to our dentist in Springfield. We got done there a little after noon and were famished so we decided to try some jamaican food. $60 and at least 15 minutes later we finally get our food in little carry out containers. My curry chicken was a disaster, my husband's wasn't just terrible for taste except there was a huge cockroach in his rice which took his appetite. We'd ordered some shrimp alfredo as well and that was the only thing that any of us touched. With NO shrimp whatsoever, just flavored elbow macaroni. Needless to say 90% of that lunch went into the garbage. Yuck!! Unless you're into eating nasty food with insects I'd suggest you go anywhere else.
