Classic, the best Mexican around! The prices are a little hard to swallow. $14+ for a half order of an enchilada style. If you lowered your prices just a little bit I would come waaay more often. But. I also understand. Still recommend this 100% over any other Mexican chain.

I used to LOVE eating here. With fair prices for amount you received. The last 2 times I have been VERY disappointed. First off it is now right at $18.00 for a burrito enchilada style, and one small bag of chips (to go order). Even the burrito is smaller!! This time the chips I got looked and tasted like they had sat under the warming lamp WAY to long!! I would be embarrassed to serve them and the tomatoes... That's what those are in the attached photo !! I understand everything has gone up but then the product should be the quality or even better than it was before. Soon NO One will want to spend that kind of money for poor quality food, and then what ??? Businesses close, unemployment rises.... Vicious cycle! I for one will NOT be wasting any more of my money at this location for sure. I should have known when I walked in the door and was made to feel like I was more of an inconvenience than someone who was helping pay for their salary or position! Oh and did I mention, this was at 5:30 when everyone would be stopping in for supper?
Had dinner at Mexican Villa. We had the Sanchos, 1 enchilada style, and 1 plain.We also had yellow cheese dip with both mild and sweet sauces.The food was great as always, the service was good and the place was clean.Great place if you're looking for Tex-mex style food.

I would have to rate this dining experience as fair. The tacos were decent, but all of their salsas are too thin and runny for my taste. Drinks are overpriced and the service could have been much better. The atmosphere is okay, but dated. I'm afraid that I won't be returning any time soon.
The food was gross. They use literal watered-down taco sauce to dip chips in. Burrito was good but was more like a dip.Service was good except the teen waiting on us seemed less than enthusiastic about being there. Filled our drinks with a quickness. The decor is Mexican themed but looked cheap. Won't be coming back I'd rather dip chips in salsa not nasty taco sauce juice.

This isn't "authentic" Mexican, BUT it IS Springfield MO original, authentic Mexican and we love to stop here. Sancho enchilada style, or burrito enchilada style, with an order of the yellow chili con queso, (served with hot and sweet sauces) make it a memorable meal. Give them a try without expecting it to taste "Mexican". It's uniquely Mexican Villa "Mexican" and it's delish! Servers are friendly. The restaurant is clean and well decorated with Mexican flair.
