I've been going here for the last 2 years and it's never been by my choice. Always for someone else's event. The reason? Too much vegetable/seed oil kills my stomach. I'm lying here awake at 1am because my gut is on fire after losing a gallon of fluid on the toilet.The staff is always great when I come here though and the atmosphere is pretty good too. But if I want to feel sick after eating I'll just go to taco bell. At least it won't cost my wife and I $100...

Absolutely abysmal experience. The waitress service was poor. The chef was nice but we ordered a sushi roll (4 pieces for $5 as stated on the menu) and when the waitress misheard us and brought us out FOUR entire rolls of sushi we had to pay for it. Even when we tried to explain when the food was brought out, they still charged a college student $30 extra for a simple miscommunication. The waiters nor manager was understanding of the situation and placed the blame on us. The manager actually told us we ordered wrong. We were not NOT going to pay for it, but management was absolutely unapologetic and no responsibility was taken. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Felt like a scam.

Completely taken aback, service was low quality. Our main issue was with how they handled a simple miscommunication. We ordered a “four piece spicy roll” and got brought out 4 orders of the four piece order. Immediately told the waitress and all she did was say a pitiful sorry. When our ticket came out we were charged with the full 4 orders, and when asked why, she said there was nothing they could do, with no explanation as to why we were paying for the extra. She said when we were ordered she took it as 4 orders instead of 4 pieces, and said we ordered the wrong way. All the manager said was “that’s not the correct way you order it” and “that’s not the way we do things around here” even though we specifically said “4 pieces”. Very condescending and bad communication. Overall not impressed with this customer service.

It was ok. I think it is overrated. I had been wanting to eat there for awhile & finally did but honestly I will be going back to Hinode from now on. I like it better. We paid more & got less food & the salad is so much better at Hinode.

Dietary restrictions: We had a person with a shellfish allergy, and our chef made sure that the person was not exposed to any allergen by thoroughly cleaning the grill before he began cooking and then cooked the meal, reserving the shrimp people had as the last cooked item.Kid-friendliness: We had an almost-3 yr old with us and the chef made her feel special, serving her foods she would love. We had a little girl who talked about the soup and her noodles the whole way home.

Food tasted good but the portion sizes seem to have gotten smaller. I got the steak and chicken hibachi and barely got any vegetables (two pieces of broccoli and a little sliced onion and a few pieces of zucchini). I was served last out of the table each time and didnt get much fried rice, he was scrapping to get me about have a bowl while others got a full bowls packed down. I used to not be able to even begin to eat all the food they would give you but that has definitely changed. Not good value for the money (spent $25).

I'll definitely come back. Next time I'll sit at the sushi bar. Loved the hibachi but the sushi bar looks more relaxed. Food was delicious and the staff were great. My drink was always full.
