I just moved here from Santa Barbara, California where there are some of the best places to get food in one city. Buena Onda in Santa Barbara, it was fantastic for empanadas. I never expect to find something here in Springfield that would rival that. However, this place is fantastic! I highly recommend this. I had the steak empanada and also the spicy chicken. Because I'm a big spice fan the spicy chicken was definitely my favorite and I will eat here again. Join me in supporting this local business to keep them around for a long time. It's a unique place for something different to eat. The young woman that helped me out when I placed my order was really nice. The restaurant is stylized toward soccer so images of soccer players and different memorabilia are on the walls. It's a very casual place so come as you are.

Yum, if you ever want to try authentic Argentinian food here is your chance. The empanadas are amazing and the melanesa sandwich was enough for at least 3 people and it is soooo good.
Ordered from Uber Eats for the second time. Uber Eats was taking a horribly long time and switching drivers. My food still arrived hot and delicious. We love the mushroom empanada and all the beef ones we have tried so far. We will definitely go to the restaurant next on a lunch date. I was a bit disappointed our tiramisu cake was still frozen.

What a great find. Tucked away in strip-mall complex near Cox South, the food here is amazing. So many choices of empanadas, plus pizza, sandwiches, soups, and desserts. Quirky and comfortable setting, this family owned and run business gives you friendly service. The spinach empanada was amazing, as was the pizza empanada. My husband loves the dessert empanadas too. Will be back!

Got the carnitas empanada, and the meat was marinated in pure glorious-ness. Yummy and super cute warm environment. ❤️ SO many things I want to try on the menu next time I visit.
My son found this cute place online and was needing to order a dessert (chocotorta) for his cultural day project at school. These guys were SUPER friendly and went above and beyond to make this happen for my boy. My kid told me the day BEFORE his project that we needed to order some. His presentation was at 11:30 and these guys didn't open til 11 BUT they made the cakes for us and had it ready right at 11. I am forever grateful for their kindness and willingness to inconvenience themselves to help us out. Thank you so very much!! (Side note: the kids who tried the cake loved it and we also ordered some beef empanadas while we were there and they are so yummy! We can't wait to try the other flavors available)

This was my first time trying Argentinian Empanadas and boy was I impressed! We got the Spicy Beef, the Hawaiian, and the Dulce de Leche. All three were absolutely fantastic! The Hawaiian was so creamy and comforting. The spicy beef had tremendous depth of flavor, and the Dulce de Leche may just be my new favorite dessert of all time! Located right off National convenient to the James River Freeway, this place offers a unique choice for your next culinary adventure!

The most delicious and authentic empanadas I’ve found in a very long time. They were made fresh, so it was understandable that a couple flavors were out of stock. We tried the spinach, beef, spicy beef, quesadilla, chorizo, carnitas, and dulce de leche. Between 4 people we were unable to finish the 12 empanadas we ordered. They are BIG. The atmosphere is cute and welcoming. With fun murals on the walls. Customers are encouraged to draw or write a message, creating a fun artistic feel. Each delicious empanada comes marked with its type, so no guessing which empanada is which kind. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we had to get a box to-go because (did I mention) these are BIG empanadas. Finally, the service. As a family run business, the cashier/waitress was so polite. At the end of the meal she asked if we wanted to meet her father, the owner. He was amazing and so excited to hear how we found his place. It is a place we will be returning to each time we visit Springfield.Kid-friendliness: They have two floor to ceiling chalkboards with chalk for kids to draw and entertain themselves. So fun and artistic.
