I’ve been buying breakfast and lunch at Panera in Springfield for years but have cut back probably 90% of how often I stop here now. The prices continue to climb every few months while serving sizes seem to get smaller. Ive not found any other city where Panera prices are so high. I regularly drive to St Louis where the food prices at their Panera stores are at least 30-50% less expensive. The owner of the Springfield stores is really pushing the envelope with the outrageous pricing and it’s cost them my business at minimum and I suspect many others as well. No idea how the Springfield stores are still in business at this point.

This is a great Panera. The store manager and other employees are very helpful and nice. They remember your face and greet you like a friend. The food is not five-star restaurant quality but you wouldn’t expect that from Panera. But the food is consistent and gives a healthy option. This Panera is always busy but I’ve never been able to find a table. It is a large dining room with several booths if you want to hide away for a private conversation. The parking lot can get a little hectic when you’re trying to get out on Sunshine Street but there is a light or you can park on the east side in the church parking lot where there are convenient steps in the grass to walk over to Panera. this is my favorite Panera and I highly recommend it.Parking: The parking lot can get a little busy, but you can also park on the east side in the church parking lot

Got 2 of the U pick 2 meals, both were incorrect and both sandwiches were soggy, while the soups were cold. Called about it and let the manager know and they refused to do anything to fix it. Huge waste of $30 ?‍??

UNFAIR! UNJUSTIFIED! OUTRAGEOUS! . . . raised the price of Family Pastry Feast from $16.99 to $22.99 . . . that's A WHOPPING 35% INCREASE! . . . although their menu still shows $16.99 :(

Good for long conversations. Excellent and healthy food choices. But it's getting pricey with small portions .

Great place for breakfast or lunch. I like getting a half sandwich and soup. They have great pastries, cookies and bread. This time I ordered the bacon ,tomato and chicken pizza. It was good until next time.Features: There's not much on social distancing here. You can sit anywhere you want. Nice employees and helpful.

I don't understand the attraction this place has. It is ridiculously overpriced, and the food is just ok. Service was bad, horrible attitudes. I ordered a cup of broccoli and cheese soup and a cup of macaroni and cheese for my little, total was 14 dollars, and change. Both unhealthy, nothing but carbs. Never

It's been almost a year since we last ate here. The food has always been tasty but a little expensive compared to other places. Today we were shocked by the price vs quality of the meal. $41.55 for two U pick 2 meals!!!She had a 1/2 Sierra Turkey (not on the menu), a cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup, medium drink with a baguette slice for her side. I had the Green Goddess Chicken Caprese Melt (whole baguette) with a cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup, medium drink with chips for my side.We don't mind paying for quality. The value just wasn't there for these meals. If you go online and look at the Panera Bread website, you'll see robust stacked meats and vegetables on their sandwiches. That isn't what we got. See the picture of her 1/2 sandwich. Mine had maybe 1/2 cup of pulverized chicken crumbles, four small slices of tomato, a little melted cheese, spring greens and the dressing. All you could see from the side were greens and tomato edges. While the bread is always good and we can't complain about the soup, almost every other eatery offers significantly better value for your hard-earned dollars. We won't be back.
