I think that customer service is almost as important as the taste of the product itself. I give both the customer service and the custard a 5/5. The staff is knowledgeable and professional and passionate! I’ve only tried the custard but it is truly incredible. I personally think it’s WAY better than Andy’s. Actually, I don’t even think they’re in the same category. I’m looking forward to weekly outings here with my family. Oh, and they have some green outdoor seating too! This place is a true little gem that’s been added to our neighborhood is SW Springfiled!

I have had Rita’s for a very long time, but it had only been far away. But now this one is closer, and it did not disappoint. I got the cotton candy gelati, easily a 5 star, wish I could rate it more!

Absolutely delicious; so glad to have one here in Springfield! I have visited a few times with family, and I’m convinced there isn’t a bad flavor. That being said, as constructive criticism, I would recommend that the staff write down orders. A handful of times the wrong flavor of custard or ice was given. Won’t keep me away though.

Management needs to offer a tip option and/or tip jar because the staff was super friendly and helpful! I will definitely be back to enjoy another frozen treat!

I’m from the East Coast and every time I go back I always go to Rita’s!!! So excited we now have one here! The best soft serve!!! Always brings back happy memories from my childhood Amended Review:I have been here 5 times and always get the same thing a vanilla custard in a cup with chocolate sprinkles. Started out getting a small which was $6 and change and I kid you not it was smaller than Andy’s kids sundae/ or regular small custard which is $2.97 . So, the last two times I tried a large for $ 7 and change. I thought I would give it one last try…. Very disappointing!!!! Either these children you have serving the customers are not trained correctly or you are grossly overcharging for what you serve!! The competition from Andy’s is to great to charge what you do for what you get!! Bummer , I was so glad to have a Rita’s here, but honestly , I will not be returning to this one. I will just wait and go when I travel back east for a visit .
Too expensive! Andy's prices for subpar knock off custard. Very poor selection of flavors and too long of a wait..we stood at an empty window for 10 minutes in hindsight we should have walked away and went to Andys

It was so good! I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors!!! I wish you would share your daily flavors either on the website or across all social media I don’t do Facebook… another edit!!! To whoever does your social media daily flavors should be posted early!!!!

The custard tasted like someone froze cool whip. It was not custard. It didn’t even melt on a hot evening so I’m half convinced I ate plastic that now lives permanently in my stomach. Neither my mom nor I could finish. I also got a pumpkin iced coffee to bring to my husband and I took a sip and threw it out. It tasted like really poorly flavored corn syrup. I could not taste coffee. I gagged. $18 for two small cones and a terrible “coffee,” none of which were edible. Stick with Andy’s.

It’s hard to imagine a less efficient way of operating a business like this. My suggestion: two people take the order. Two people make the order. Having the same people take the order make the order makes no sense. Also, the custard was fine but my concrete was VERY light on toppings and also not filled to the top of the cup.

Ice was pretty good, but the custard tasted like frozen whipped topping.
