I've been to Sakura on multiple occasions and it's a treat every time. The staff are always friendly and the food is delicious for this part of the country. If I had to point out an issue it would be that it's difficult to tell if they are closed from the outside of the restaurant. Other than that I would highly recommend their sushi.

This place was absolutely amazing! We beat the crowd on a Saturday evening for date night and ended up spending about $80 because we wanted to try a lot of things. I have celiac and the waitress was very nice and knowledgeable, the food was beautifully prepared, and I had no reaction. The atmosphere is cozy and even as a crowd rolled in, it did not get too congested or loud. We will definitely be going back for more soon!Dietary restrictions: I have reactive celiac and experienced no reaction. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful when it came to suggestions. I could have almost anything except the crunch, eel sauce, and tempera. Certain things could be subbed for others and gluten-free soy sauce was provided for me.

As soon as I walked in, it smelled like I walked right into being crop dusted by some fat guy on his way out, he definitely had shrimp fried rice with extra wasabi, not a good first impression.

Lit the best Sushi in Springfield! Going into this place, I had my doubts. The sushi in the middle of North America shouldn't be bussin right? But as I sat down, I understood their quest. The chefs were on a mission. They had been practicing their entire lives, just for me to walk in, and be AMAZED! The fish is so fresh, and their soy sauce is gas. The flavors were melting on my freaking tongue. 10/10 would sushi again.

Took over 45 minutes at 1:30 on a Sunday to get any of the food. There were not that many people in the restaurant. $18 for combination plates that had almost no food on them; seriously anemic portions. The combo fried rice I got was decently portioned, but the meat was so overcooked it was chewy and rubbery. I don’t ever plan on going back. But the atmosphere was cool, very clean and nice.

It was good, but a little slow. They were very busy though and only two servers. Long wait on our food too. I'm used to bigger pieces of calamari and theirs was very small little pieces. Not bad, just different.

We drive semi truck and our home terminal is in Springfield. We love love to come here for sushi when we have time. It us worth the Uber ride. Service never disappoints and the food is superb.

I'm very sorry I could not provide better pictures of the food as I was hangry and needed to eat lol taking pictures was not my priority so I took what I could.Atmosphere was great, pulling in was iffy but walked in had us curious, but wowed us with the decorations and layout. They had a bar where you could watch them make the sushi . Every employee seemed very nice and welcoming. Sushi was great! Everything we ordered was great ! If you like to try different types of sushi, this is a great one to share amongst a group. I personally enjoyed this place better than some other places we have been to.

Was traveling through Springfield, and was in the mood for Sushi. Figured we'd give Sakura a try. The service was good, but the Sushi was average in my opinion. The fish didn't taste fresh. This is my only experience here, so reviewing accordingly.
