I’ve actually been here a few times but Saturday we stopped in for brunch at about noon. We wanted to skip the busyness of some other places and thought this place would have some more classic options. The food was fantastic! I got the ham steak with eggs, potatoes (hashbrown or home fries, I had the home fries) and HOMEMADE bread. I chose the cinnamon raisin toast and it was delicious! The slices were huge! Everything was great and my wife and I even commented of why do we not come here more often. My wife had the tenderloin which was also huge but tasty! Service was great, the coffee was kept full and the waitress was attentive. The food was so good I forgot to take a before ??

However, after reviewing the receipt, it's hard to believe that a large chocolate milk, which appears smaller than a large soda or medium water, is priced higher than both of those items combined.almost $4 for 8 oz seems like price gouging.

An awesome breakfast experience with my sister. The food, the service, everything was perfect. If you haven't been to Scramblers, I can't even imagine that you haven't, just go. You won't be disappointed.

It was fine. The waitress was nice, the food was edible. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again, but if I'm specifically at the corner of National and Republic looking for breakfast, I would probably pick Scramblers over Waffle House, I guess. But for the quality of food they're serving, they need to lower prices by about 30%. Also, more than 45 minutes passed from the time we walked in, to the time we got our food. It was fine, that's the best I can say.
