I've had the Clubhouse Classic club here many times, over the course of several years, and it's always been great. I ordered one today and it was awful. The ham was sliced half an inch thick instead of deli sandwich style. The tomatoes were old and had been frozen at some point- they were nearly transparent. There were several onion pieces on the tomatoes, likewise old and transparent, and not supposed to be there anyway. But the worst part was the turkey- there was just a tiny little bit of it, and it was all so freezer-burnt that it was more like jerky. The bacon was the only part that was done right.I ended up eating my fries, which were excellent, and luckily I also ordered onion rings, which were also excellent. So I did get full, but I honestly felt like that sandwich would give me food poisoning, it was so gross.

This has become our weekly place to eat, our favorite. The food is more like a down home Cafe rather than a chain restuarant. The people are very friendly and overall cleanliness is great. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all good.

We went for dinner this evening. Its a low key place, but their current chef/cook is the rock star! I had the beer battered fish and it was so good. Light, crispy and huge. Hubby had the mexican omelet and was also thrilled. Daughter had the strawberry waffle and was likewise impressed.

First thing is that there were not a whole lot of options on Christmas day for restaurants in Springfield. We gave Springfield Family restaurant a try due to the reviews and the parking lot was full. I am assuming that most people were from out of town like we were or just did not have family to spend the day with. There were people of all ages in there this day. Mostly older folks, but there were a few families with children. We were seated and greated promptly. Our waitress was a little rough around the edges, however she was nice. Our food came out in a timely manner due to how busy the place was. We never ran out of beverages and the place was turning tables quickly. THe food however was less than mediocre. My salad was ok but nothing I would go back for, the omelet breakfast that my boyfriend got was greasy and not appetizing he said. The food filled us up good enough for the day, however we will not be going back to this establishment. Seems like this would be a place for people to go after the bar. I noticed that it could also use a deep clean as there was grease and dust on things.

This place is great! I order from here using uber eats. It's so delicious, comes hot, and fast. God Bless these folks, I ordered a waffle for my son but they called and said their waffle maker wasn't working so I told them it was for my son and he would be fine with a pancake. When I received my order they had made a smiley face with chocolate chips in the pancake, my son loved it!

We had tried breakfast and supper so we decided to give lunch a try as well, so Thursday afternoon when we had gotten off work we decided to see if lunch was as good as the other times much to our pleasure it had been really good all 3 times. We are pleasantly surprised and more than pleased!! We split an order of onion rings, my husband thought they would be a single-size but much to our surprise it was enough to feed 3 or 4 of us once our lunch had arrived. You truly do get your money's worth. For lunch, I tried the Chicken BLT on a Bun with French Fries and Coffee, you have the option of grilled or fried chicken I chose the grilled and it was so very good it was very juicy and very tender, it fell apart every time I bit into it was soon very good and the fries were soon crispy I am too picky and these were done perfectly. My husband tried the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and he really liked it, he said the flavor was dead on he didn't have to add any seasonings to it shocked me he adds salt and pepper to EVERYTHING!! He asked for extra pickles and ate all of them he said their pickles were extremely good and definitely filly he said I should try them next time we go he also had the French Fries and liked them as much as I did. I will say we enjoyed our lunch as much as both our other two visits, thank you for doing such a great job. We will be back!!

If you are new to town or have not tried this restaurant, please give it a try I promise you won’t be sorry. My husband and I went for an early supper and were shocked to see how busy they were at 5 pm but again it was a Friday evening, they do have a lot of regulars who know their menu very well, and even know their secret menus so be prepared to see things on other tables that you didn't see on the menu itself.Our waitress Connie was accommodating and answered all of my questions, she was also super attentive even with a ton of other tables that she had to contend with at the same time. I am always asking for extra napkins and butter and before I could even ask she had brought them to the table which made me extremely happy. We never once had to ask for our drinks to be refilled she was on top of that as well, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Miss Connie is most definitely one of the best waitresses we have ever had, great job!!The interior is a bit older and quaint and sweet it reminded me of some of the places I used to go with my parents and grandparents I enjoyed sitting there with my husband thinking about bringing my own family there, enjoying the food, and making our memories I'm sure the little ones would get a kick out of the cake and pie coolers. Looked delicious.As for supper, We both ordered the side salads that came with our meals, and they had diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and cheese I’m sure you can get onion if you ask we just didn't think about it. They also had 4-5 different dressings as well.Our Entree’s mine was their Famous Fried Chicken, the chicken was tender and super juicy it was cooked perfectly, and the breading was melt-in-your-mouth yummy. It had the perfect amount of crunch and the color was just right, trust me when I say I am PICKY! The chicken was cooked to the bone with NO pink anywhere which made me extremely happy, my potato was soft and hot the butter melted as soon I put it on my potato. To my amazement, everything beat my expectations I am very happy.My husband ordered the Liver and Onions with a Baked Potato and Cole Slaw. He will normally order this at new restaurants to see if it will sit well in his stomach he says “If it does we will be back if not we won't ever try it again”… Well we will be going back…I’m glad because it was very good.He said his Liver was cooked just right there was no bitter taste to it at all and the onions still had a bit of a bite to them, he sent his compliments to the chef, and he enjoyed his potato as well as for the Cole Slaw he let me try it I got two little bites he inhaled the rest of it, I know next time to get my own it was perfectly sweet and just the right amount of creamy.Last but certainly not least we had dessert and omgeese was it good I don't have enough words to describe the flavors or to tell you how good it really was we tried the German Cherry Pie but they called it something else, ITS A MUST TRY!! On the outside, it looks like an ordinary cherry pie with whipped cream but on the inside, it's covered in Chocolate so it's a Chocolate Cherry Whip Cream Pie, and it’s WONDERFUL!!Well that going to do it for this review of Springfield Family RestaurantHope you give them a try!Vegetarian options: I noticed vegetarian options on the menu.Parking: You must come in from the main road the parking is situated weirdly if you are not prepared.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
