Subway in Springfield

“Whenever they honor the buy one get one free deal, I find myself visiting this Subway, which is among the better ones in town. The employees were friendly and followed through with my special request to hollow out the bread and load it generously with vegetables. The interior boasts a modern design and is well-maintained. However, accessing the location from National Street can be slightly inconvenient due to a steep incline.“

“The food was actually as expected from SUBWAY, Awesome!!! “My mother in-law and I was visiting my husband in the hospital at James River. We decided to order Subway. We picked up four sandwiches,chips cookies and three drinks. I have to say it's the best Subway I ever been to.Everything was perfect. I think the lady who was working might have been a manager. She did such a awesome job. Everything was fresh and made just right.I think that the only thing that might have been wrong was the bottled soda could have been colder but really other than that everything including her timing on are food being ready was so excellent.I hope you keep this lady around.She made a very good first impression for this store.“

“I rarely ever rate 5-stars, but I did today because of the sole employee in the store. Dillon is a great worker, with an even tempered demeanor and a good sense of humor. In spite of being on by himself, Dillon didn't get rattled when it got a little busier than it should have been. He explained his situation without complaining about being on by himself. Customer service is typically a thankless job, but this guy represents the best Subway has to offer. Hopefully someone sees this and gives Dillon the recognition he deserves.“

“We’ve gone to this Subway for awhile now. The last couple of times, we’ve been SO impressed, especially with Cole(one of the servers) he is so clean, tidy, calm and cool. He washes his hands after making every sandwich!! The restaurant and bathrooms are so neat and clean!! “I am a regular at lunch time! The people during the lunch hour during the week are very with it and are quick and kind. Today I got dinner and the people were not great and only put two pieces of pepperoni on my 6 inch.. it was strange. I know everyone has a bad day but I just noticed a big difference in staff from the day shift to dinner shift employees.“

“The experience at this subway restaurant was like most subways at lunch. Chaotic and out of order. They were understaffed for the time of day which led to unnecessary wait times. I understand that things slow down when they get busy but with a little help from management I think they could be the best subway in Springfield.“

“I ordered two 6" subs, 2 bags of chips, 1 cookie, and 2 bottled beverages to be delivered (via Doordash) to my office for lunch for my husband and I. Our delivery was prompt and on time. Before I even had a chance to go downstairs and collect our delivered items, the manager of this Subway, Derek, called me on the phone number I added to my order. He immediately apologized because his employee had made a mistake and forgot to include our beverages. I commend the employee for being so honest and prompt to take responsibility for a simple, human mistake. I also greatly appreciate Derek's management style - he immediately offered to make it right by offering us free cookies next time we visit, which he didn't have to do, but was appreciate nonetheless. The food we DID receive was warm, delicious and well-made, and the service and courtesy we received from the folks at this location was top notch. Keep up the great work, East Kearney Subway crew!!! “I came here and there was a worker named Hunter working. Most helpful and sweetest subway worker I have ever met. Hunter was incredibly efficient and even checked in on my partner & i later during our meal to make sure we were completely satisfied. Excellent customer service, will definitely come here again!“

“Store was clean and I just wanted two drinks ..however when I saw the sandwiches being made for the lady in front of me I was on board. Zach took my order and was so pleasant to talk to he can make you smile with silly jokes while making the food. That's awesome Subway because you can tell your employees take pride in what they do and make because of seeing the food display and the overall appearance throughout the store. Upon his cookie recommendations I did buy 3 chic chip cookies as well as 3 raspberry cheesecake cookies and both were delicious. Thank you Zach for making my day and keep up the great work.
