We went downtown looking for a late night place with food and music. We came to the right place. We didn’t realize we needed to call ahead but the hostess was gracious and seated us.The locals appeared to have fun, and the music was a good mix of popular tunes. We had cheese pizza, chips and queso, and Korean bbq (jackfruit)bowl. All were delicious, flavorful, and had great texture! We are not vegetarians, but the meal was very sustaining and satisfying. Even the cheese dip has me craving it even now! The scorpion bowl is a shareable drink that I’m sure will be a big hit.Vegetarian options: Plenty.

The drinks were amazing but did not feel welcome or comfortable in there. My wife and I came in for a drink and we felt like an inconvenience. It was 7:00 on a Wednesday night so nowhere close to closing. The bartenders were more interested in talking to each other than anything else. We had to try and get their attention multiple times before they noticed and took our order. Once we ordered they immediately asked if we wanted the check, like they could not wait to get us out of there. There were other guests but not so busy that we were taking up space for other patrons. I’ve never been treat this way at an establishment before, I would definitely go back if it weren’t for the bad service/experience.

Not sure if it helps or hurts to say I’m from San Diego and this place rivals some of the best tiki bars in California. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is good, but the drinks are soooo yummy! Classics are done well, if not with a twist, and many new-to-me drinks that hit the spot and are kind to the wallet. Above it all, the service is beyond reproach, friendly and knowledgeable. Putting on my must-come-back list!

Best Tiki Bar in the Midwest! We drive to Springfield from KC a couple times a year just to visit Golden Girl Rum Club. Their menu is unparalleled in all of the original, excellent drinks they offer. Son of Banana Man is my all time fav, but they always blow my mind with their ingredients and creativity. The service is great, quality is 10/10, and the price is EXCELLENT for a bar serving drinks of this quality. A true gem - please open in KC!! ?❤️?

My friends and I love golden girls! Unfortunately we were put on a waiting list and they said they would text us when the table was ready. It had been 40 minutes and we came back and asked about our table. The girl said she texted us and we never texted back, but she didn’t text us at all. Instead of making it right, she claimed she did text us and put us back on the waiting list. As of now it’s been two hours with no text. UPDATE** It’s the next morning and we never received a text
