We ordered salads and a sausage and meatball pizza. We had time to have a nice, relaxed conversation before the pizza arrived. Our server told us Vito makes the meatballs by hand, and OMG - the pizza was fantastic! Great atmosphere. Super service from the young lady who waited on us. Amazed that we hadn't visited here before, but definitely will be back. Thank you Vito!

Vitos is the best pizza in Springfield! And more - Vito has developed a crust that is second to none. We think it would take a trip to nyc or possibly Italy to find its equal!

Tried to add gratuity to my pickup order. Then charged my card even though I backed out of it due to me not wanting to pay the tip. SCAM. Never ordering again.

Having a group of (7) couples - the pizza bar seemed a good way to dine. This place has some really great dishes I'll list below. For a first time, it sure was a great place to find. Here is what I can speak to: Spinach dip appetizer: This dip was pretty darn good to say the least. This isn't your typical mayo or sour cream based dip. The Italian spin on this one really elevates the dip. Meatball appetizer: We had the meatball with a white sauce along with another covered with marinara. Either one of these were an excellent representation of an Italian meatball. Anti-pasta appetizer: a typical platter of items you'd expect and was good. There were (2) cheeses I thought that were particularly very good. Pizza: First off - somebody knows what they're dining in making the crust. The crust had a great airy texture....has those big air bubble pockets that is a sign of a great crust! We had a white sauce pizza as one of our options. The sauce made from cream, Parmesan and garlic.....it was certainly a "fan favorite" at our table. Cannolis: These cannolis maybe aren't the level of Missouri Bakery on The Hill....but we're not in St Louis. For Springfield....these cannolis are still quite good. When you go to Vito's - expect to see Vito to come around the dining room. He takes a real interest and pride in his restaurant. Try it....I think you'll really enjoy the place!

Magnificent pizza. Try the Vito or go for a tried and true pepperoni pizza. Amazing discovery, if you are a true pizza aficionado this is a must try. Polish things off with some scrumptious cannolis.

Our new favorite place! Vito's only serves pizzas at very specific times, as the dough is fresh, handmade, NEVER FROZEN. Trust me, the limited serving time is so worth it, because it is fantastic. I can't even begin to describe why it's so good. You must try it for yourself! The pricing is wonderful, as well!

I'm always looking for restaurants that are a cut above in Springfield. Vito's Kitchen did not disappoint. The Cesar salad made with fresh, crisp, cool romaine with a flavorful scratch made dressing and croutons was delightful. We ordered the “Vito” NY style pizza pie and it was delicious too. The crust is airy and crisp like pizza pastry not remotely doughy. Topped it all off with a rich cannoli and gelato. Yum!!!

Pizza was to die for, and we were happy and full when we left. Vito came up and talked to us too. The restaurant has a cozy home feel. I highly recommend
