Because we asked to have the floor swept under our table (food on the floor) it took our waitress forever to come take our order and there were not many patrons in the restaurant so she can’t use that as an excuse. The food here is awesome but the service is awful. The floor was very sticky. Please clean up both the establishment and the attitudes.

Always enjoy going to waffle House, most of them anyway. This evening I got off work as I do and on my way home I was going to stop at the local waffle House, I proceeded to walk in and take a table that is facing the entry/exit doors, and the waitress said she would be right with me. Take note that there is about 10 to 15 patrons in the establishment. The extremely kind and polite waitress finished helping the other patrons and came over to take my order, and asked to find out what I want and I'm ready. I proceeded to let her know that I'm ready to order and that it was just me sitting here. She then asked me to, find a seat at the bar to allow guests of more than one to take that booth. I then proceeded to tell her that I feel comfortable where I am at and explained that I am able to see the entry and exit doors from where I am sitting, and if I set up the bar, my back is turned, turned to the only entry and exit avenues in the establishment. there is no bar seating that faces any entry/exit doors. She then proceeded to politely ask again for me to move and kindly mentions that she will not be able to take my order until I move to allow guests to occupy that seat.I then asked her again and she politely respects that however, wants me to move even though I've explained my concern. I then proceeded to tell the kind lady thank you for your time. I'm sorry to take up the seat. I will find business elsewhere and told her to have a good evening.I have never had this issue especially at 12:30 in the morning, at any waffle House establishment. I found this very odd and confusing. I understood where she was coming from however, being warmer military I do have concerns of having my back turned to an entry/exit point. This is honestly a first for me and I hope that this doesn't happen again. This was the first time at this establishment. It is very well maybe my last. I will stick to my regular waffle house locations, even if they are on the other side of town.Again, I just want to give a very thank you to all of the staff that work there, you are all very professional, polite, and courteous to all of the patrons. I hope do business with this location at some point down the road.Thank you.
