They had to send my order via Doordash (which i didn't know at the time i called)due to staffing issues and unfortunately the driver dropped the pizza. I called up there just to let them know and the manager immediately said that he would send out another one.

Ordered delivery, messed up my order twice and the drive got lost. Good dude, he called and still got to me quick. Pizza was hot and perfect. Papa then emailed me a coupon. Papa made it right.

Never had a problem when my deliveries were from Maryland Heights. At this location my order was not correct when delivered, and the delivery driver just sat the order on the ground outside my door without knocking after receiving more than a $6 tip. .When I called the person told me they have no control over Doordash drivers and they only deliver online orders as they receive them. Bet this location won't be in business long.

I came in today...first time eating at this location. The service was good...no complaints there that's why I gave them 2 stars.my.concern is regarding people who work in restaurants or the food industry period need to be more cautious of how they prepare the food especially the manner in which they come in contact with food being prepared and served...meaning talking over folks food, traveling with food throughout the location regardless if its behind the counter, and touching surfaces that come in contact with the food. One guy walked from the back digging in his eyes and without washing his hands went directly to prepping and making food. Another guys nails were not as clean as they should be. Another guy was walking from the food prep area with pepperoni in his hands to the register then touched the register counter and register. Cross contamination is a thing, a real thing and without making sure to follow food safety regs you are putting people at risk of food poisoning or worse. This is not the first food establishment I have been in that doesn't seem to appreciate the importance of food safety...as a matter of fact it just seems that a lot of the local restaurants are not trained/educated about it and its sad and nasty. ? St. Louis restaurants need to do better.

Skimpy on ingredients so you need to order twice the meat to get a decent pizza. Sauce is good, service is good.Parking: Busy college town downtown area. Parking limited.

This location completely shut down out of nowhere. Doesn't look like it's coming back either.

We've ordered from this location at least a dozen times with only minor issues, but this last order was absurd. One pizza was covered in onions when they were not requested and the other pizza was under-cooked. Before the pizza arrived I received a 'we're sorry' email that gave me a half-off coupon, suggesting they knew something was wrong but did nothing to fix it.I called the store but after half an hour of holding never got to talk to anyone. Every five minutes the line rang for a few seconds and went right back to hold. So I called customer service instead and they promised 'upper management' would get back to us, but as of a week later they have not.The surveys also let you request someone follow up with you, but that hasn't happened either. Why would a company send out food they knew was wrong? I can understand being understaffed, but if things are this bad then the company needs to step in and do something. There are reviews like mine going back for months, if not more.EDIT: Fair is fair - I finally heard back from Papa Johns off of my third attempt to reach them to resolve this. They ignored my request to contact me by email and say they called but never left a message, nor do I see any calls from their store or any number I don't recognize on my phone or my wife's phone. But a refund has been provided along with an apology from customer service.

Well….3 STARS for a mixed review. Most of the time a quick order of a pizza, some bread sticks and a fresh baked brownie is delivered pretty quick. HOWEVER! Tonight the store completely dropped the ball by having a clueless DoorDash driver show up with less than half of my order. I could go on and on about poor phone etiquette, terrible attitudes and gawd awful customer service skills but why bother….Once I went to the store and picked up what wasn’t delivered, we ate it, it was good and I’m full!

I called the store phone number. A call center answered. I told them that I did not want to order through a call center and to please put me through to the store I called. The person that answered the store phone was the district manager (he said). I told him I wanted to place an order. He told me to call back and use the call center. I told him I did not want to use a call center. That my order is often wrong and their English is difficult to understand. First he stated that he's a franchise and the corporation hired the call center. Again I asked if he would take my order. He then stated that he uses a call center so that he didn't have to spend time taking orders and I needed to use the call center or place an order online. Now, in this amount of time I could have already ordered my pizza. But I digress. I told him again that I did not want to use a call center. And I asked if he wanted my business and would take my order and he hung up on me. I did not yell. I did not raise my voice. I spoke reasonably to him. This is the district manager. I do not understand how anyone thinks such poor customer service is acceptable and how they think their business will continue to function when this is the way they handle things. FYI I then called the Papa Johns on Dorset in Maryland Heights and they were happy to take my order and it was done in 10 minutes. Needless to say the store on Dorset will be getting all of our future business.

Never received my order and the Maryland Heights store did nothing to locate or place my order. Order was placed online and took my gift card!
