Went through the drive-through at the Saint Charles location for my first time today. I looked at the menu for a bit, waiting for somebody to take my order before I realized I had to drive to the window to place my order. So I guess people have to memorize their entire order? And drive up to the window and recite it?I only got a medium ice cream cone, but I will say the portion was very nice and the taste was off the hook compared to culvers. Got a strawberry and Oreo vanilla custard milkshake on the way to the airport. I've never lived in St. Louis, nor do I know anything about this local concrete/custard. It was delicious. Lots of chunks of real strawberry. Friendly service too. Only drawback is the hellish suburban mall-scape location, though I got the sense that maybe Andy's was there before the box stores.

Even with a long drive thru line they are quick. Always accurate and nice staff. My favorites are the seasonal key lime pie and pumpkin pie Concretes. Great arrays of toppings (my favorite are fresh fruit!) and menu items and you can watch frozen custard being made. Open til like 10 even in winter on weekdays, so it's great for night owls.
