We sat outside for lunch, cute patio, comfortable and inviting. The server was very good, we didn't have to wait for anything, drinks were very good the Hanger steak & fries was the absolute best Hanger steak I've ever had, the chimichuri was a great compliment to the steak. My husband had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo it was amazing, the sauce had the best flavor and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We definitely will be back!!

Good service and atmosphere, overpriced and tasteless food. The drinks were pretty good. Roasted chicken was bland. Macaroni and cheese tasted like it came out of a box. The french onion soup was disgusting, no flavor.
Another fantastic evening overall at TMH! We snagged the last Fish and Chips special thank goodness bc it's a new favorite you've got to try. The Salmon risotto special was delicious, as was the beet and butternut squash salad topped with salmon. Of course the Denver Wagyu was perfectly prepared. The bourbon smash is a must try. Addison, our server, is always delightful; the service at TMH keeps us coming back just as much as the food! Best place to eat and drink on Main Street!!

3 stars is for the pricing. 15.00 for a BLT. 15.00 for a club sandwich. 25.00 for a salmon sandwich with bacon. A burger and fries was 18.00??I mean... Come on. The food was good but not THAT good. Lunch cost 75.00 for 3 people before tip with 1 beer, 1 person only had water, and 1 person had a shake. That's absolutely crazy.We won't go back, just because it's too pricey for what you get.Parking: Park where you can and walk.Kid-friendliness: Meh. My kid liked it. She's 12. Got a 15.00 BLT and an 8.00 shake.Wheelchair accessibility: Nope. My wife just had surgery. We had to park her wheelchair out front and she had to crutch it down steps to eat.

Another great experience at The Main House. We were able to sit where requested which is always a good start. Started with the Deviled Eggs and they were very nice. Wedge Salad was very tasty and they split it for us without us asking which was a nice touch. They had sold out of my wife's prefered steak (the Manhattan Strip), but she enjoyed the filet as well. My Beef Tenderloin was delicious. Service by Sergei was fantastic and the owner stopped by as well. Space is beautiful as well. Overall a great time!

I've been here three times and every time Chef Chip knocks it out of the park! We've had the hanger steak, the shrimp and grits, the pasta primavera, the oven roasted pork chop, the chicken, the Brussel sprouts, the French fries, the salmon, and the shrimp cocktail. These are all absolutely outstanding. The shrimp cocktail should be called prawn cocktail because these shrimp are colossal! And his cocktail sauce is the best I've ever tasted, even better than my homemade.
This was our 2nd visit to The Main House. From the outstanding food, service, ambiance, don't hesitate to try this spectacular restaurant on Main Street, St. Charles. I chose cucumber gimlet, sweet and spicy cream chees w pita, wedge salad, pork chop w brussel sprouts and potatoes and finished with espresso martini. Fantastic from start to finish! 5 stars!
