Amazing traditional steakhouse with great steaks and sides. I had the KC Strip which was cooked to medium rare and the baked potato with its sour cream was top notch. Grilled asparagus with a soy sauce reduction rounded out the meal. Salad course was nice and not overbearing.

Been eating here for over 20 years, great place, food is delicious, the service is great. Almost like a small town restaurant in the city. Great western atmosphere of the cattle drives that fueled it's origins in the 1800s. Prices are comparable with other area steak houses, but the taste beats them.

This is off the beaten path for most when thinking about high quality steakhouses. However it's most definitely worth the trip. One of the top three places I've ever eaten at for Prime Rib and at $30 with a salad/soup and 2 sides, it's incredibly priced. This is up there with the house of Prime Rib in San Francisco and half the price. Great, old saloon atmosphere and friendly staff.

Anyone who knows Hoof and Horn also knows they've been there since 1898 and anyone who's been there knows why. Even though their menu is pretty large, you HAVE to get a steak! I'm usually pretty particular about my steak and don't usually get one in a restaurant but they cooked mine better than I could have imagined! My wife had the best chicken I've had in a long time, don't know what they did but it melted in your mouth! No disappointments here but I will say to make a reservation or you will be waiting!

I used Google to determine whether or not it was busy and it said less busy than usual we get in there and it was far more packed than ever. Good place to eat but man they really know how to pack them in. Going to be a while before I go back in. Not blaming them but after that I got sick with bronchitis because I think too many people were there. Maybe it was just me I don't know. But the food was still a pretty awesome no doubt about it.
