I walked up to the service window last night at about 10pm. A girl opened the window and just couldn't seem to hear me. I asked about the waffle cone and asked what kinds of ice cream they had (first time there), she informed me I could only get chocolate or vanilla. Uh.. okay... I ordered vanilla and asked what kinds of toppings they had (I wanted mixed fruit). I was told that they will not put toppings on a waffle cone. Whaaa??? She did tell me that they can put them on the side. Okay, sure... I asked for cherries and the key lime syrup. She walked over to her manager asked him something and returned to tell me I could have cherries but not the syrup. Fine... Whatever. By this point I just wanted the transaction to be over. I pay my money in cash. She hands me the cone, then the cherries, I then take the cup of cherries, put them on top of the cone, looked at her and simply asked why that was so hard. She gave me a look, and frankly it was probably the same look that by that point I was giving her.I don't care how fresh the ingredients are, how clean your store is, if you can't get someone to even get the basics of customer service? What's the point?I want a refund...

I can’t say enough positive things about Andy’s in Kirkwood. Custard is excellent, better priced than its competitors (e.g. St. Louis Frozen Custard; word of advice – don’t EVER go there, unless you’re prepared to deal with entitled teenage attitudes and utter disrespect). In 4 to 5 years of coming to Andy ‘s I have never experienced anything but superior customer service. For example, tonight Will took my order and he could not have been more professional and polite, exactly how I would like my sons to act when they are his age.. It just makes the experience so much more enjoyable when you are dealing with young employees who know how to interact with customers professionally and do their job well. Will was the quintessential example of this. Also, in the four or five years, I’ve been coming here, I can remember only ONE time when my order ended up being incorrect, and that was simply due to a miscommunication. The workers handled it like true professionals, and if I were their boss, I would be so proud. Thanks Andy’s, and keep up the great work! I made the mistake of going to St. Louis frozen custard once the other day, and I will NEVER make that mistake again.

Pumpkin pie and apple pie concretes were soooo good! Pricey, but good. Drive through service, not a favorite. Hot spot for the teens. Parking a little difficult.

Yummy soft ice cream. Lately new people working don't know how to make some of my requests. Also the chocolate magic liquid has been thick and clumpy. Plus portion sizes have gone down
This place was right by my hotel and I saw so many people go to it that I had to try it! The service was great and we got our desserts very quickly. They had a huge selection of unique flavors to choose from. The James Brownie Funky Jackhammer was okay and wish it was mixed more. I could barely taste the peanut butter and could only taste the hot fudge. The other concrete and shake we got were really good!

Went here with my son after a Boy Scouts event, and it was super busy. Quality was great, but the lady at the counter didn't acknowledge we were even in line. Another employee who was super nice, acknowledged us, and took our order asap. Overall, Andy's is pretty good!

It was just ok to me. I honestly don't know why. It just didn't taste like anything to write home about. To be fair, my fiance did enjoy his, but he said the mint was a little weird. The service was friendly and fast and the owner did reply to my review. I added a star for that reason.

DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE FROZEN CUSTARD. Nice gal at counter. Fast service.BUT! If you're not driving through, and eat on front patio (benches only): the area is filthy. The concrete patio and steps are filthy and napkins are strewn all along the shrubbery that edges the patio.Three visible preparers in back part of shop: one had on a filthy Andy's cap.

We first had Andy's Custard in Denver, but we found one in St. Louis now. Great selection of treats for everyone.
