Facebook is asking me "What do you recommend about China Garden on Gravois?" Well, I could - and truthfully should, write a whole essay on this subject. However I will not do so since I will instead be enjoying everything about my repeated excellent experiences at China Garden on Gravois. I will leave you with this note - China Garden on Gravois is stupendous and makes all other Chinese take outs look like imitators.

Delivery ordered, never received. Female stated I would be reimbursed. Never was. When I called her about it, she got amnesia and couldn't remember me.

I'm not sure why I have never been here ...I guess maybe outside appearances , I don't know , but I tried it on my way home from work and ordered General Tso's chicken combo. I have to say.... This was one of the best General Tsos chicken I have had I. A long time . It was spicy , which is rare and I loved it. The broccoli was fresh and had crunch . The crab Rangoon and egg roll were very good too . They have a new customer now

I had their Szachuan Spicy Chicken and it was very good. It has this old school St Louis style Chinese food that was made in a well cared for old wok, if you know the flavor that I am talking about, then you know the flavor that I am talking about. The real star of my meal was the fried wonton appetizer. These perfectly shaped, delectable tasting wantons were fantastic. If you decide to order from here, they don't have dine in, I would recommend adding an order of fried wontons.

I stopped by yesterday for the first time and I will be back. I ordered duck and noodles, and a lemon chicken combination plate with crab rangoon. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. Crab rangoon was a touch sweet, but tasty overall. The rice was delicious. It is my new go-to place.

The food here slaps - it's cheap, delicious, and prepared correctly. The portion sizes are massive for the price. I'm a customer for life!

Makes the best Lo Main within a 10 mile radius. Not overcooked and soupy like some places make it. The pork is flavored very nicely too.

Because this place is closer to my house and opened later I came on a whim. Everything we got was good. The rice, St. Paul's, and regular wings were really good. Went back another time and tried the eggrolls and Hot Butter Wings. Though they are smaller than some eggrolls, they are very tasty. The wings though! Those are now my go to Asian style wings to get. The sauce is SOOO good!
