My husband and I made a reservation for Cinco De Mayo 2024. They were packed! The service was great even though they were very busy. I had the chicken burrito! It was amazing! The drinks were delicious ? we will be back next time we pas through St. Louis. Very good. I recommend reservations

First time at Diego's was pretty good. The queso was delicious as was the mojito. The birria chicken taco was underwhelming. I didn't care for the green sauce and it was kind of bland. The rice and beans were average. The fish taco and the veggie taco were good. Got dessert for my bday. Overall had a great time, the service was prompt and friendly. The place looks great. Will be back.

Awesome space. Seemed like we caught them on an "off night" maybe. Margaritas had an insane amount of lime juice in them and our server was a little standoffish. Service was quick and the food was good, but not amazing like many of the reviews.

I loved the way this establishment is designed and the esthetic. The person who waited on us was very friendly and kind to myself and my son.The food was brought out and it in my opinion was a great price per quality. All the flavors were concise and as described in the menu.I did order a drink and it was I believe 15-17 dollars and I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED that it was made in a way a drink should be constructed.Being a bartender in the past I am not easily impressed by drinks, I feel they are often far too strong … I don’t want a drink to be drunk I want a drink to taste good, as well as be relaxing.Very impressed overall, randomly stopped in for our first time and I WILL BE BACK … OFTEN.

This will be my first 1 Star review. The atmosphere is great, but unfortunately the burritos along with some of their sides are just terrible. You could get the same quality of burrito from QuickTrip.

This restaurant is fabulous. Both the food AND drinks is are amazing, which is sometimes rare to find. I love their tacos and their unique take. Their hibiscus margarita is to die for. I would recommend a pitcher for sure.

You have to try this place. It was absolutely incredible. The food was the freshest I've had in a long time. The service was on point, and the ambiance was 2nd to none.

As a vegetarian, Diego's has definitely been one of my favorite restaurants in St. Louis so far. The ambiance is here is amazing, good music, gorgeous interiors. The staff was friendly for the most part, except for our waitress who kept making snide remarks at a member of our party. I love love love the amount of vegetarian and vegan options that they have, and that almost everything can be modified to be vegan, from the queso, to tacos, to nachos. The food was quite good as well! I loved the crispy beef taco especially. The beans and rice, however, were kind of bland. I will definitely be coming back to work my way through the menu

Great food atmosphere and service. Fantastic vibe permeates the entire space. Owners are always present to make sure experience is great. Highly recommended.

The flaming cheese and the spicy jalapeño Margarita were EXCELLENT. Some of the best cheese dip that I have ever had. However, that's pretty much where the excellence ended. The house margaritas tasted nearly like straight lime juice. They were so sour that no one at our table finished theirs. The rest of the food was OK. Not bad but nothing special and everyone at our table felt that the food was not worth the price. I do not think that we will come back.

Avoid the enchiladas. Online orders can take forever. Been dip was good though not proportional to price.Update from today’s online order. 40 minutes to get the food … and the foods cold lol. I got there earlier than the posted time, had to wait 15-20 minutes and when it comes out it’s like warm and soggy. Y’all made me wait for cold food. Wish I didn’t have to pre tip for an online order.

This place nails it! The atmosphere was fantastic. We started at the bar (chillin' and chattin'), and then moved to a table. The server took us to a booth, but we requested to change to 1/2 booth, 1/2 table which suited us better. They were very accommodating. The cocktails are PERFECT and I love the large selection. The food was AMAAAAZING and enjoyed by all! The service was good and the prices are, IMO, reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Walked in to a charming and cozy venue at happy hour. Bar service was great! Bartender was attentive, knowledgeable and personable in a customer friendly way. The drink selection is phenomenal and well prepared no matter if you enjoy a cocktail, beer or wine. Served alongside a few chips and salsa and happy is the hour! The menu is more upscale from usual Mexican food, but vegan!! and gf!!! or not! and more little plate choices for each dish. Great choice for south of the border dining out!

Cute and quaint restaurant with a nice vibe. Our service was excellent, stayed on top of us all night. Food was good as well, I opted for all of the happy hour deals and was pleasantly satisfied with everything from the chips and salsa to the drinks! Will definitely be back.
