So this is a STL historic staple. I had the slinger and it was the best almagamation of bod ides I have ever experienced. The place is a small, diner, with the only seating around a breakfast bar / counter. You really feel welcomed when you get there, even though they are doing a grdat job of limiting people due to Corona virus, once you gwt the seat you realize that it was all worth it. The wonderful woman who cooks there daily is fantastic, treat her well she deserves it. She prepares every meal and without fail they were all perfect. I recommed toanyone who is looking for some old fashioned eats, with a true STL atmosphere, you have found it now. Cheers.

We love Eat Rite! But... You more more then one person in the kitchen.. also a better attitude towards the customers the atmosphere was not pleasant AT ALL..so we we will be going somewhere else for our amazing Slinger... ??

Love this spot. Thought it was goin to close down a while back but Im so glad it didn't. It's one of those small hole-n-tha-wall joints that is like going to grandma's house for a meal. P

American food, mmm, quality stuff. Fell in love with this place from the 1st taste. I will be bringing family next time. The bill was fair for the quality of food.

For the price I'd rather go to White Castles. Eat Rite burgers were hard and too DANG little for the price.

Very very rude. Does not want to cook whats on the menu. The cook actually told me to go to White Castle. So I left. I dont spend money with rude companies.Response to Eat rite Diner: Me and 3 co-workers came in to by food. It was a female cook there and she never greeted us. She absolutely refuse to cook what we wanted and told us they were out of everything except burgers. This was literally last week. She never turned to see our faces so I didn't see hers. When we left a guy and his daughter went in and left out before we got off the lot. I asked him why he left and he responded by saying her attitude. I work for Icon and our company logo is on our shirts. If ypu have cameras. You can see it for yourself. As of today I'm changing my review of Eat-Rite Diner. After speaking with the owner who went out of his way to make sure my next experience was well iwould say this is definitely a place to visit. I would definitely recommend the Slinger, it is absolutely amazing. Thx Joel

A very good place to have homemade burgers and breakfast food. I miss eating here since they are close before I get off work.

I’ve driven past this place many times near downtown and tried it for the first time today.

I've driven past this place many times near downtown and tried it for the first time today. Visited for lunch this morning to celebrate STL Burger Week. Staff was incredibly friendly and the Ooey Gooey Cheesy Bacon Louie was an awesome example of a diner burger. Juicy, fresh, and great to the last bite! Chef Vicky knows her stuff. Highly recommend for the good prices, great staff, delicious burgers, and cozy atmosphere!
